I have done almost same kinda thing with a trumark slingshot again with the black bands, i have cable tied the whisker biscuit on with 6 cable ties to the frame and trimmed the excess and removed the knocks from the 32inch arrows and superglued golf tee,s in place so they can be pinched between the pouch. I wouldnt be able to draw back quite as far as yourself or hold the draw anywhere as long. Also the trumarks have a compartment in the grip to store 9mm ammo and with the cable ties they can be quickly snipped and removed if needed so the 9mm ammo can be used again. Good little survival weapon and lots of fun as well. All the best.
Very very cool. May I ask where you got your sling shot tubes and d-loop/nock configuration? It looks like there are white plastic inserts that you tied the d-loop and bow string to? What are those called? THanks!
Try using thunderball magnetic nocks. They work terrible with an actual bow but they are fantastic with a sling bow set up. Then just put a small pan head screw with a nut on the back at the center of a standard pouch and your ready to rock. No more trying fish the nock onto a flaccid string with one hand. Plus they’re like $10 for a set of 12 nicks.
Ok, works now, cheers. On another note, I think I bought one of your old slingbows a couple of years ago on eBay. A small metal frame wrapped in paracord with a leather arrow rest. If it was yours could you recommend a glue for the leather as it has started to come apart? Thanks.
Salvador Orozco usually when you're buying your bands or tubing wether it's the bands are flat or tubed, you'll normally get a diagram showing the capability an capacities of them. Personally I don't shoot arrows just BB's but I find the best for all round usage is theraband gold or black. Both heavy band sets an 14mm-15mm steel or lead ball bearings.
That's what I been saying . Alot of guy I've seen there buiscut high or low of the point where tubes attach I made sure mine were level on all 3 points .
Tbh, you get your eye in wherever the biscuit sits, high/low/left/right just like shooting a traditional bow, they all shoot differently, they all shoot.consistently you have to know your bow 😉👍🏻
I own the Black Widow and the El Diablo. Love what you have done here, but your video is extremely lacking in info on HOW to convert the sling shot. 1. What kind of tubing? 2.What kind of screws were used to fasten the WB? Metal or wood? Even with the tie, my WB wants to move. 3. Did you make the wrist support while on the bar supports or did you make it then install it on the piece? 4.) What kind of taping are you using on the bands near the WB? Please let me know the answers to these questions. They will greatly enhance the making and using of the Barnett.

Still got my black widow I got in 1984 I’ve had about 6 new sets of elastic bands and that’s it still as good as New.
I've heard ones from that period are far superior in quality to those sold today

Sounds like mine! I'd use 2 part epoxy glue from poundland! (or stitch it?) :-)

Can you get accuracy with your buisket hole lower than where rubber goes on to steal ? Does that help ?
