In this video, I flew out to Chicago to meet Karl Hughes - a guy who built a $2,500,000 business in just 2 years. He shared how he literally got started without a landing page or a website - AND, how anyone can launch a profitable productized service with just one skill. He's also one of the most down to earth people I've met so far. Hope you guys enjoy!

So fun to meet you in person for this recording, Pat. Starter Story has definitely been inspiring for me as well, so glad I could share my story here too.
Karl is amazing! What an inspiration. He's helped me so much in getting my own tech content agency off the ground.
So close to 100k, well deserved. Congrats in advance!
Oh damn! I've known Karl for over 10 years. Awesome to see him featured here.
Thomas Frank the legend!!
It’s always a great day when Starter Story uploads!! Great job Pat!
Dude these are epic, engaging and very entertaining.
The storytelling is top teir from start to finish.
Not going to lie, tried to watch another video and you have just set your benchmark with these new videos.
Awesome job.🎉🎉
Which one?
(and thank you)
Bravo for your channel, the. content is extremely valuable and highly appreciated! Keep it rocking and you'll become one of the top in the world. Best,
Thank you! What would you like to see more of?
This is such an awsome channel. Absolutely love your content. 😁
i love it when people realize self confidence is completely illusory and therefore they are free to do whatever they want however they want. no wonder we criminalize drugs.
You can tell his a good editor right off the bat
Great stuff. Fun to hear the story! I remember the uLoop days.
This is the best channel in this space, by far!
this productized agency model is thriving like no other model this year!
Same wrinkled Tshirt, same Shorts. Probably same socks. Love it.
Thank you this was great! 😃
Another 🔥 one!
I love this channel.. great work
Nice one, I'd suggest you remove background music - hard to concentrate with so many moving parts.
"How'd you get your first customer?" "I dont remember." thanks for the help 👍
Yo! Loving your content.
It's crazy he had time for all this, while running LAHWF
Premium! Thanks for the 💡👍🏻
I notice, every guess on your shoe talks rapid. Are you speeding up the video?
The natural conversation rhythm with changes in inflection and tonality with pauses, is more enjoyable and digestible, listening to one channel for hours.
Bro, can I suggest something?
your content is awesome but it would be nice you we could know what kind of business each video is about. Everyone on your channel wants to grow a business or get inspired, but I might be more inclined to choose businesses that aligns with my skill set. And in all your descriptions you don’t categorize the business.
great content!
too many swoosh sound fx.

Finally someone who pronounces Niche correctly. @4.20 😂
Haha, I think I pronounce it differently every time.
he said 3 years in video lol
super super tks
Getting distracted with so much unnecessary background music.
“Niche” is pronounced “neesh”
ok
I dont get it
❤
Now A.I can do that….
yes, and he can 10x his business with the same team now, using a.i.
And? If AI can do it. He can just use it to make his business even more easy to run and possibly even more profitable.
Your services is cool, but not affordable to people from third world countries 😢
Why don’t you set it up for 3rd world countries? Maybe we could partner

Hey Pat, towards the end of the video @karlHughesTech mentioned that talking to potential customers who were unsatisfied with the products currently on the model is important but how do we find these "unsatisfied customer" so we can have a discussion with them about improving the service? Love the content btw :)
For me, it was a mix of cold outreach and asking for warm intros.
Once you identify the profile of your target buyer, Linkedin and Apollo make it relatively easy/cheap to find them. Then you just have to be persistent.
