wow i'm so impressed that those languages belong to philipines islands. As Indonesian, those languages are so similiar to our regional languages. If you didn't explain about the language's origin, i would guest that those language are Indonesian's. I knew that we're austronesian family but i feel those languages are so close to us.

Guys, according to my research the Kingdome of Luisong or Kingdom of Luzon is also descended from URANUN and all of the Philippine The IRNUN is the Inhabitants of the Ancient Philippines that The Spaniards and the later by American to Destroy. They used the strategy of Divide and and destroy. Luzon was conquered and used against the Other IRANUN in Veshaya and Mindanaw they change most of the ancient Name of our past territories.

you are wrong because it was not people from Luzon but people from the Visayas (Cebuano and Ilonggo) who were used by the Spanish to conquer other tribes here in the Philippines, the Tagalogs were only conquered by the people from the Visayas and there's no iranun in the visayas because people from visayas have war against the moro or muslim tribe and iranun is part of the moro so they can't stay in visayas@@donoragonvlog641

As an Iranon, I agree that both Maranao and Iranon can converse easily but we Iranon can also understand Maguindanao easily but Maguindao having hard time understanding Iranon and Maranao and Maranao having hard time understanding Maguindanao. We have two types of Iranon, those ancestors or people who live on the shores are "mragat'n", and "dalem'n" are those who lives in the forest. Those two types of Iranon have a different accent and the Maranao accent is close to "dalem'n" thick accent. There is study that Iranon tribe is the mother tribe where Maguindanao and Maranao came from but irony that we ain't recognized in mainstream since people assume that we either Maguindanao or Maranao

Iranon of Philippines here! Good thing about Iranon/ Ilanun in bahasa Malay/Indo (pirates). We can both understand Maguindanao and Maranao and we also use their words as "synonyms". However, Maguindanao and Maranao can not understand each other as the words and accent is totally different. Iranon is the in the middle and there is a claim that Iranon is the mother tribe of those two tribes... Iranon existed and migrated in Malaysia and Indonesia :)

I am Maguindanaon. And based on those written words from iranun and maranao, I basically understood the meaning its just that we maguindanao do not usually use those words as its very deep words. The pure maguindanao I think to this day is just observed in "Bayok"(poetic chants) but its gradually dying😢
