- I saw some doll collectors talking about how this new Barbie Extra 15 doll looked a lot like Raquelle so I wanted to make a video on her! I also customized and repainted her lips, and opened Barbie Extra 14 as well! Both of them are new releases from Barbie Extra Series 4. Fresh from the doll factory haha What do you think? That would be so cool, can you imagine? There also needs to be better quality Kens, i love ken but I can't make stop motions or anything with no joints.
When I first saw promo pics of number 15, I wasn't a fan. But honestly, after watching this, I've changed my mind. She looks so much better without the jacket and with the new lip color. I'd also love to see Raquelle make an official comeback. It would be interesting for Mattel to revisit her original look from The Barbie Diaries. As for 14, you're right that her outfit is easily the best Extra outfit to date. Thanks for sharing!
Wow! The repaint was absolutely magical! I love how it turned out. And the head removal trick was genius! I am definitely going to try that next time. Can't believe I never thought of that! I definitely think this doll looks like Raquelle...the resemblance is uncanny. I so wish the characters from barbie life in the dreamhouse will one day make a return! 15 looks great, especially after the lip repaint. She wasn't giving me any Raquelle vibes though.14, I must have. She's like a tribute to older Barbies. It honestly could have been a collector doll.

I love the first doll’s outfit (#15) the most, and I love her lavender lips. I unboxed her a couple of days ago and was so impressed at the detailing her gorgeous silver outfit. Just goes to show Mattel hasn’t forgotten how to put some effort into making realistic outfits, seems like they’ve forgotten since Fashion Fever 😢
Yesss painting over the lips is way easier I do it all the time unless the original paint is off place 👌👏

I would not say that Barbie 15 looks like Raquelle at all except for having long dark hair. All your dolls look very beautiful with their lovely long dark hair, amazing clothes, with their elegant make-up, and precious jewelry.
That was educational & appreciated, where you showed us the easier way to remove the head, plus also about the earrings.

I love how barbie now becoming more cohesive in design. Now like some girl run through thrift store in last minute and just dress whatever she catches on hehehe. Tbh i love this body as made to move might made them look like a robotic vibe. The body is more like smooth and i think it is more like integrity or mizi vibe to it. And btw what if these might be raquelle new face mold since barbie had her new face millie mold😮

I’m so happy that, Barbie Extra dolls don’t have made to move bodies, as I find that the made to move bodies, look absolutely hideous and I wouldn’t buy a Barbie Extra doll, if they had made to move bodies.
Even tho I love Made to move, I don’t mind 😅 I love the basic articulated bodies too!

I plan to repaint 14’s lips when I get her. I want to take down her hair too, and boilwash it, so she has long straight hair like a waterfall. I hope her rooting and parting allows for it! She’s not available here yet so I have to wait.
Hi! I have the 14 and I took the hair down! It pretty much straightened itself when I brushed it 🥰 I added hair tinsel to mine as my hair also has hair tinsel haha just thought this might be helpful
look at the year imprinted at the back of each dolls head/ nape.
I like the BE Raquel, and maybe it’s just on camera but her eyebrows look so thick and monotonous. If I get her I’ll have to thin them with a little acetone and paint some little hairs. But other than that those were great dolls and an amazing video, keep up the great work 💕
