This is such a powerful love song. I've loved this song since it first came out and I can't count the number of times that I've listened to it. I guess because as you mentioned you can get lost in it and he has the ability to transport to a magical place. As well as being a wonderful poet, Van is a musical genius and can evoke in his music what he is trying to convey. Not only this but the range and expressiveness of his voice is unmatched. I liked your insightful comment on his use of specificity in his lyrics and how it does make it so much more powerful and heartfelt. You might like his beautiful love song "Hymns to the Silence" which many don't know of (perhaps because its 9 min long). In it he builts up rich instrumentations in each section and he repeats the verse in a mantra like effect. He's able to convey silence in this song music which might seem a contradiction. It's another of his many masterpeices.

Van is incredible. We both come from Belfast Dani. He enjoys legendary status in these parts. My favourite song by him is called Daring Night. His album “Avalon Sunset” is a masterpiece. ✌️
also realise, Van produces all his music, bringing his influences and background into it, while also allowing his musicians artistic expression as well. There's a live video of Summertime in England at the Beacon Theatre which has some awesome iprov in it.
Tupelo honey is very unique.The Flowers only bloom for a very short period of time and if you can get the real,raw,pure tupelo honey it will not crystallize over time.Also,most diabetics eat it without problems.Distinguishes:)
