I can’t imagine how many times I’ve watched this over the years. Hands down my favorite KEXP session ever. And this album is in my top 3 of all time. It’s just so damn dreamy. And timeless! Shana is an artist to be cherished.
One of the heaviest bands. I love these songs and so does my 13 year old son. He has them memorized. By the way, 2019's Night of the Worm Moon is beautiful. Depressed lately, and Shana soothes me. Keep it up Shana .
Fantastic.. Love all, last one reminded me of the Ziggens - Big Salty Tears, but it is a great album , best heard in a long time, and super talented is Shana, thank you!!
New to Shana N equally new to la luz.wfmu dj Jeffrey Davison on his show shrunken planet played this.while in NJ kexp was simulcast on our radio N thanks for turning me on to lots of artists I didn't know.thanks to many....
+Ten Craftsmen +charlie wired I agree with Charlie, each to their own. i feel like you get more of a personal glimpse of Shana's being in this. you can hear it in her music. But I'm huge fan of La Luz as well.
In terms of quality there's no difference between the two, in terms of musical style La Luz and The Sandcastles are a world apart. I'm enjoying both in equal measures

Shana Cleveland is a dream...
Best stuff I've heard in ages, totally captivating. Great to see a drummer who can use his drumkit properly. Superb.
Thanks KEXP. Another fantastic show. Kind regards from Valencia Spain. Another fine fine group. Everybody at KEXP for president.
Golden days is great. Woke up this morning with this song running through my head, guitar soft and moving.
oh wow, only just discovering Shana, this is fantastic stuff!
Love me some Shana Cleveland
The last song is especially hypnotic. Love this!
I love the way Shana plays. Folkpsych, the thunder is always in your arm ;)
This is a terrific performance of art!
Beautiful as always
Her voice and her songs are completely captivating. I'm late to the party but better late than never.

Holy Rollers y Golden Days, son dos temas verdaderamente geniales.
fantastic drumming/percussion….he reminds me of the drummer from the Doors…and some of the Doors sounds run through this music…at least in my head.
Sean Meister Yeah, the guitar solo in the first song definitely reminds me "The End". Awesome band!
Shana has a knack for finding amazing drummers. Marian Li-Peno who plays with her in La Luz is similarly amazing on the drums.
Bert Jansch zone! Pentangle amplified, great melodies and harmonies, yowza
lovit!
Gorgeous
Im feelin this! Way Cool!
Like this just heard her on radio and had to look her up
I hear some Chris Isaak going in this tone and vibe. I really enjoyed listening. Thanks.
Will Sprott on bass!
Well, hey now.
I thought i was listening to Mazzy Star for a second. Not in a bad way.
Pentangle definetly!!!
😍 😎✌️
Clearly influenced by the doors ! Gréât vibes
What about la luz?
+Ricardo C. the drummer got murdered in a botched convenience store robbery … AFAIK its over..

I think I prefer Shana's other band La Luz to this project.
+Ten Craftsmen I strongly prefer this project to La Luz… ea their own I guess..

+Ten Craftsmen Why not both? I think it's great seeing different sides to a musician.

They’re both great. It totally makes sense to have an outlet for the more upbeat stuff and the more chill stuff like this.
Interesting.
Three fingers with a strutcaster.
Anyone get some Jefferson Airplane vibes??
@Dan Brown I came here to say this.
+Catpower....
Meandering jam-band nonsense
It all sounds like different versions of the same unfinished song. Dislike.
