lovely video Kevin...actually heading up to Craigellachie today to do a bit of walking but mostly eating and drinking whisky...well it is "Whisky Country" after all!
Good to see you back out on the hills Kev. 👍 Glad you & your pals got to enjoy the inversion. It's always a great feeling when you get above the mist and suddenly see for miles. ATB Derek
Hi Kev! Perfect day to be out with friends, no wind!! Nice summits and inspiring views! Amazing to see the cloud inversion settle down into the valley below… enjoyed the music too! 😉😄👍👍💚
Yes and me nearly 60 yrs old so I have started to be more sensible and wondering how my body as managed all these years with me being out of control lol 😂 have to look forward and not back
That was n incredible walk through the smoggy forest my friend. The way you explain every detail there is very detailed. The view there is incredibly perfect and has the ambience that every people most wants to go to and experience. Have a nice day friend!
Kev, weather has been shocking🌨these past months, though days like that make up for it☀👣 Always cool to be above the cloud ☀👍 What a day and way to spend time with old pals👍
Good to see you out again Kev hills and a few mates 🙏🏼🏔️🏴 perfect 👍 Long drives are the bain aren’t they same for me 😢 the mountains are always far off Great to tag along mate 🙏🏼 Regards Simon 🤠👍
Nice one Kev, stunning day you got there and an inversion too ..magic. .I'm same to , sometimes i canni be bothered driving miles away ...cheers Stevie
Hi Kev, brilliant mate, what a weekend. A catch up with pals and stunning views to boot on your walk. Certainly better than watching football in the pub! 🤣
Looked a cracking walk Kev! Topped off by a stunning inversion. Good to catch up with your mates as well! I know the feeling about canny be arsed with all the driving! 👍
@@Kev_Russ I didn't was a long drive and then quite a big day over the Corbett and Graham followed by the drive home again. It was a cracker of a day although cold.
Nice one kev, glad you got the views from the tops👍 always good to catch up with old mates. Yeh know what you mean about long drives in the winter, I’ll be staying local till spring next year. ATB Frank
Nice! Not had a wee inversion this winter so far! Cracking Kev! I know what you mean about the driving… the hardest part of the day for me is getting out of bed and driving in the dark…😢😢😢 Paul
Well that was brilliant!! The weather has been dreadful here too mate. Try to get the camera out on walks and there’s no point!! But you had a good one there. Views were very beautiful. The only problem with inversions if they’re not burning off is that you have to walk back down into the clag😃 Ross County v Celtic would have been interesting but hey - would t have missed that hike for the World!!! Have a good week mate.
Hello Kev, lovely to see you out again and - may I congratulate you for just demonstrating that you don't have to climb that high or be that far from civilisation, to witness some of the best of nature's shows? And so my advice to you in these short, wet days is this: forget the four-hour drives and show us more of what the Borders has to offer! I never made it into the Lammermuirs before I lost my mobility, nor the Cheviots or even much of the Moorfoots. I've done the Eildons and a wee bit of the path doon the other side, plus a few expeditions on the Minchmoor bit of the Southern Uplands Way; so personally, I don't care where you show us, 'cos they're all places I can't get to any more! And when you cannae be arsed - jist dinnae dae it, Son - as long as yer keeping up yer fitness, that's fine by me.
Cheers for the kind words Paul. 😊 Aye fancy another wee trek down the Eastern side of the Lammys. Need to revisit the Cheviots. Only been doon there once.
Our local dog walk when we're up there Kev but I've never had conditions like that...just grand 😍 Aye, the short days make long drives less attractive that's for sure. Did you get onto the Gorms while you were up there?
Cheers lan, yeah I remember your vid. Nah, never got into the Gorms. Late one in the pub Fri night, that walk sat, pub sat night then home early Sunday
Awww Kev that's pure shite ye walked away up there and couldny see a thing for they bloody clouds 😂😂😂 but if ye want tae see the views go check oot oor vlog at Oot n Aboot wi us 😂😂😂😂😂.....I'm so funny I make masel laugh 😊
