Can you do a tour of your older than five years clothes from within your wardrobe, knitwear, tops, dresses. Would be interested to see what you have kept, designer and the more relatable high street stuff. I feel that a lot of what you show now if unrelatable to your original subscribers, not everyone can afford designer. Could you do more styling videos with a designer look and then a high street dupe version or take what’s in your wardrobe to recreate the look from what you already have. Shows more sustainability and helps people. I think people aren’t buying as much and want help with using there stuff in their wardrobe and are buying accessories or essentials.
I love your style, and personally don’t need to see you with a new knitwear or item every time you post/ make a video. I would rather see how you style all your beautiful pieces. This is also more realistic to all of us. Would love vloggers to promote a circular economy through their lifestyle, not only saying fashion brands need to be more ethical.
I’m a maximalist and with this past year, it feels owning and buying a lot is ‘out of touch’? I’ve found myself watching fewer fashion influencers even though I like their content, personality or non-fashion content because they also seem out of touch with norms. Does that make sense. I used to love watching Josie and your comment really resonated. I’d also like to see the same clothes over and over not just in a what I bought video. Show us that clever side of truly wearing something multiple ways.
Almond butter isn't bad for you! It's just high in calories which isn't a bad thing. It's all about balance not "Good" vs "Bad". Enjoy your Almond butter! The smoothie looks so yummy!
I definitely love closet clear outs, they give me that extra motivation I need to clean my own closet and get it looking good. You are amazing at what you do♡
Josie, while I enjoy watching your vlogs and understand it is your job to promote brands, I am quite often dismayed by the sheer number of clothes that you buy on almost a daily basis and yet at the same time push sustainability, not to mention the cost of purchasing all theses clothes that are frequently very similar. The manufacturing industry produces similar pollution to cars. Please don’t take offence at my comment as I feel you have great style but the fact that you have to have such a large clear out of almost near new clothes attests to this. Take care.
I agree with that. It would also be interesting for us viewers to see a combination of classic and trendy items. It doesn't always have to be the latest from the shops. Of course, you earn by linking clothes - and that's only fair in the industry. But is it really the income here against the expenditure economically? We also often buy to compensate for other unmet needs. Perhaps this is also a motivation for you at this scary time?
I agree, see my post above. I am sure having endless closets is the 'solution' but I think she is in a bit of a no-win situation. I don't think she should have to keep the clothes she buys for her channel, AT ALL. I don't think Charlotte of Model Mouth or Shea Whitney even pretend to keep what they show on their channels. I think she could canvass the market for all these purchases, comment on them, style them and just make a disclosure that she obviously doesn't need all of them and that she will return most of what the haul was. We will still benefit from all the work that is put into it, we will still value and appreciate seeing the pieces up close and on.. It will still end up benefiting all concerned because we will like and buy the clothes. All Josie has to do do is shift from buying to showing. As well, another topic can be added to the fashion videos which is taking a really close almost forensic look at individual pieces discussing WHY they are well made or good value, or well liked etc. which can be a sort of 'teaching moment' of Josie's unique input using her years of experience as a 'buyer' helping them/us implement the fashion trends into our permanent wardrobes. Helping us navigate the season's offerings will ultimately be helping us to know how to take better care of ourselves , while sharing our passion for fashion and getting the most out of our fashion INVESTMENTS.
I love your vlogs, they calm me down, I’ve been having so much anxiety with everything that is happening in the world. Watching your videos reminds me that we are still alive and life still goes on. So thank you 🙏 ❤️ much love from Africa
Who knew that I would find myself obsessed with watching a British girl from across the pond puttering about her home? But I am positively hooked. Yes please, to more videos showing us behind the scenes, behind the cupboard walls, and every nook and cranny in this gorgeous ancient home fit for a princess.
Old phones: after having them cleared and reset, we donate them to a local women’s shelter program. They set up used phones for women in domestic situations in case they need to call for help. Maybe there is something like that in your area?
Josie- If you are feeling tired or weak throughout the day I would suggest pulling back on 10 or 15 minutes of your bike. Also, why not limit yourself to a certain number of "new clothes" a season and spend the rest of the time re-inventing new ways to wear your older clothes or even newer clothes?
While all of these are excellent suggestions, I think part of the thing with influencer is that people are always asking you where you got what you're wearing. But I think it would be cool if more influencers would link to similar things instead of just feeling like they need to have the thing. Also that would show how styles change over decades and stuff and would be cool.
I heard recently that people forgot the first two r’s of being more eco friendly: REDUCE, REUSE and recycle. Donating unworn clothes is a false sense of doing something good. We all need to reduce our consumption first and foremost. And get the wear out of our wardrobes. X
@@cassandraprophet4279 I totally agree. By buying so many similar pieces it sets a terrible example for young women, especially. As Josie said, she couldn't possibly wear everything. Then why buy it? I love your idea.

Hi Josie, you should stuff your handbags when not in use to help them keep their shape and store them in their lovely dust covers. Cloth bags can be hung up on hangers to keep their shape, and sometimes the straw ones too. Hugs to all!
I love watching clear outs, I would definitely like to see one of your beauty drawer's as well ^_^ And a video of how you thought when you organized your dressing room would be really inspirational. As a Swede, I can confirm that fika is a coffee break. It is usually partaken with friends or family (not really for meetings or business) so it is a very cosy time spent. A classic Swedish pastry is "Prinsesstårta"- princess cake with sponge cake, whipped cream, jam and marzipan.

Hi Josie, so good to have you back but glad you took a well earned break and recharged . I have missed your content and so looking forward to more vlogs and fashion content, you are an inspiration xx
I can relate to a wardrobe clear out/add new stuff in. I’ve been more busy clearing out my 5 month old baby daughters wardrobe more than my own recently. I’ll get round to doing my own soon however post pregnancy I’ve needed to add to my wardrobe so your content style tips etc has really helped me feel great, stylish, and confident in clothes again. Thank you Josie. ❤️x
Hi Josie loved watching you clean out your jumpers. I had a clean out and gave it all to charity. I realized with Covid last year l didn't need as much. I cleaned and emptied all my bags. Does make you feel better. Dickens did look guilty, but he is so cute. Thanks so much for sharing.💞
So pleased to hear that you love Julia Engel's style. She is one of my style inspirations too ofcourse along with you and Freddy. Its so good to see people around who love cute styles😍🌺👒
My hubby was so pleased when he got home as I had your vlog on TV. He loves seeing Dexter and Dickins..and to top it all we had Mac n cheese for tea!!! You always inspire me to sort something out in the home afterwards. Love the cute turtle travel bag so cute! Fancy some of those Alpaca bed socks too. My day is complete after a lovely vlog. 🦋
Yes a wardrobe tour would be a delight and very helpful too. I have yet to decide what to do with wardrobe design for two rooms ,one with split level ceiling and some slopes too- your design exudes confidence - the mirror style softens the high arched ceiling I think- and makes the space look wider. Lovely choice, fun too. 🌸 I keep my old phones just as if they were old diaries..
Josie, Do you even have to ask that question? 😂 OF COURSE we want a full wardrobe tour! You have the wardrobe of absolute dreams and I would love to see where you store everything and maybe whilst you do the tour you can also pick out your favorites so we can see your clothes as well! Also the cleared out 'new in' rail with all the whites and creams looks amazing! Please show us your new in clothing 😍 The white puffer coat I spotted on that rail particularly sparked my interested. It looks amazing!
Nothing like a closet clear out, so good for the mind too! Although as I move towards a more sustainable 'buy less, choose well' approach I find I need to do clear outs less often. 💕
Think your videos are lovely and I do love creams and beige however, I cant understand how you can say that you want to be more sustainable and kinder to the environment yet you buy and accept so many clothes to advertise on your channel. I understand it's your job to show us outfit ideas and your income comes from linking new in products so viewers can use the affiliate link however have you considered showing us outfits with the clothes you already have and finding similar clothes online to link so you can still get paid but do not buy and waste so many clothes. It's just an idea, not being mean but just concerned seeing how much you have and do not get to truly enjoy :)
I was going to say something similar. She and Charlie always make comments about plastic and sustainability, but what about the impact of all of those clothes that are so similar to other things and then get tossed after a season. I understand that she is going to have larger wardrobe than most but that seems more wasteful than packaging IMO.
Agree with every word and I have to add that as a fashion channel I would appreciate more ideas and inspiration from Josie. The combinations and outfits that you get from a beige jumper, beige coat and some leggins are very very limited and regular people like me don't have hundreds of similar (or exact) pieces like Josie has, so also from her business perspective is not a smart approach, I haven't bought anything recommended in her channel in ages, cause it's all the same over and over again.
@@adrianamelgarejo5467 Yes, I would love for you, Josie (just a crazy idea) to do something fun like take ONLY 10 pieces from your wardrobe and see how many different outfits you can come up with! :-)
Josie, I’m having a low energy day simply because my friend came it’s difficult I meditated this morning and all I can do is lay on the couch & watch Netflix... thank you for all the hard work and for sharing this amazing video

Josie you inspired me yesterday . This morning I spent 2 1/2 hours clearing out my 4 wardrobes and have 4 black bin bags of perfectly good clothes to leave in Oxfam when we open again. Thank you.
Your closet is what I am literally dreaming about all day and night!! Not there yet but you inspired me to organize my closet as well as like you I do have way too many things! I watched your video whilst doing it and it was so much fun (after this I rewatched old videos of yours)!Lots of love from Switzerland xxx
Good Afternoon Josie - I was thinking about your smoothie recipe before I saw your video today. I have been looking at different smoothie recipes earlier today and I remembered that you often make one and was thinking of the recipe, what a handy coincidence! It must feel very refreshing when you have a good clear out and get to organise things in a way that serves you better. We think a lot about home organisation but our workspace is equally important, particularly if you work from home (which is a lot of people right now). Your dressing room doubles up as your workspace, so having your dressing room and surrounding areas organised in a way that serves you is important. I think the way you have made use of the drawers for your tech and stationary is actually efficient and an effective use of the storage space you have :-) It's always a work in progress, which is a good thing, it means we stay in touch with how much we have and can think properly about how we or someone else can get the most use out of it. :-)
Hi Josie, I was thinking that you might enjoy a small coffee maker and microwave station somewhere in your dressing room or the room outside your dressing room that you are organizing. I think you would love the convenience of it and it could also be a lovely setup with a bistro table and chairs. Now, I have to clean out too!🥰
Such a good idea, a little peaceful space for a coffee break, maybe a few fashion or country magazines and the opportunity to really admire all the lovely clothes
Just cleared out my wardrobes too, so this really resonates. Very satisfying! And I love that you like to wear stuff we can still buy ... nothing more annoying than falling for something that’s no longer available x
Josie that was so satisfying to watch. I love to have a good wardrobe clear out now and again. I do not like having clothes hanging in my wardrobes that I have not worn for some time - just takes up useful space.
Josie, Your content is so refreshing and such a relief after what has happened in the US on 1/6/21. Greetings from the countryside of northwest New Jersey, AND I donated to my local thrift shop today after careful consideration of what doesn't work for me anymore. Feels good, as do your vlogs. Love

Hi Josie! Yes, I have to clear out my closet too. I need to start listing stuff for sale and donate. I do have quite a few knit wear too. I am so angry people are hacking into people's accounts. One of my favorite you tubers got her account hacked and she's devastated too. I completely understand the feeling. I mean people work so hard to do a video and now it's just gone. Great job on organizing all your things! It is a lot of work but so worth it. Lol, I always leave junk in the bottom of my bags too. Yes, please do a tour of your beauty room. Thank you so much for this vlog! Always love it!
I cleaned my wardrobe out last fall to the bare bones and am slowly gathering more clothes. It feels good to purge once and a while. And I always watch the videos to the end. Have you considered adding back in that fun tidbit of a word or a emoji to show that’s being done? Have a good weekend Josie and Boys, of course his Lordship Charlie. xx ❤️🌸
Just a quick tip. For all my tall boots that I don’t have proper boot inserts for I use those pool noodles. I just cut them to fit then all my boots stand up nice and straight.
Happy new year Josie. Good clear out! Well done. I have been doing some organizing and clearing out as well. I bought some great inserts for socks and underwear to put in my dresser drawers and it made such a big difference. It's good to give clothes you are not using to charity. Someone will love them.
Too cold to do anything today. We had snow and it's so cold so I know how you feel. All I want to do is browse websites and look at clothes to wear for when the lockdown is over.
I love organisational clear outs - it’s the OCD pixie(or 😈) in me. Hubby and I cleared out our dinning room cabinets and strangely enough we have made one of the drawers an IT type station (old phones, kindles, MP3 players, iPods, wires and plugs. Plus batteries etc. Another drawer is birthday, blank, get well, Christmas and various other cards, stamps, ribbons, tapes and blu tac. Also two big cabinets where all our official papers are (deeds, solicitors papers, our wills, my medical files etc etc all in folders, TV license & bills. We could have filled out recycling bin twice over with old papers we no longer need - we spent 3 hrs with the shredder and lots of coffee - very productive afternoon, followed by a lovely hot shower and dinner - I have always loved a clear out - I have always found clear outs very therapeutic

I’ll get round to doing my own soon however post pregnancy I’ve needed to add to my wardrobe so your content style tips etc has really helped me feel great, stylish, and confident in clothes again.
Thank you Josie. ❤️x
Clear outs make me so motivated to clear my wardrobe out until I start and realise I am a hoarder! Loved this video Josie! ❤️
That intro shot is just gorgeous!! I love when you don’t wear makeup, you have the most creamy perfect skin Josie 🧖🏼♀️
Clear outs are the absolute best for a fresh restart & peace of mind! ✨
I love how close you and Charlie are with both of your families.
So pleased to hear that you love Julia Engel's style. She is one of my style inspirations too ofcourse along with you and Freddy. Its so good to see people around who love cute styles😍🌺👒
Love to see a tour of your dressing room and a beauty declutter vlog x
Loved your vlog and definitely would love to see a full tour of your finished wardrobe
I always enjoy a wardrobe clear out video!
How many cream jumpers does one person need 🤷🏼♀️😂
Not this many!
Yes for sure! I have some videos planned like this!
@@minichibichi It may be best to wait for the videos so that we can all learn how people who do her job can do it sustainably :)
@@adrianamelgarejo5467 Yes, I would love for you, Josie (just a crazy idea) to do something fun like take ONLY 10 pieces from your wardrobe and see how many different outfits you can come up with! :-)
Yes to the closet tour and beauty clear out please!
Josie, I’m having a low energy day simply because my friend came it’s difficult I meditated this morning and all I can do is lay on the couch & watch Netflix... thank you for all the hard work and for sharing this amazing video
I would LOVE a wardrobe tour! I saw soo many pieces I loved the look of but had no idea where they’re from. A haul of all your knitwear pieces would be amazing too!
Josie you inspired me yesterday . This morning I spent 2 1/2 hours clearing out my 4 wardrobes and have 4 black bin bags of perfectly good clothes to leave in Oxfam when we open again. Thank you.
I loved the video. You have the most gorgeous wardrobe ever. I would love to have a wardrobe like yours.
Holy moly that ring! Gorgeous!
These are my favourite type of video- makes me want to do a huge clear-out too!! Love Dickens and Dexter, they're so cute!!! xx
Yes tour video! And also can you do a video on dressing for the winter blues. Kind of random but could be fun.
Your closet is what I am literally dreaming about all day and night!! Not there yet but you inspired me to organize my closet as well as like you I do have way too many things! I watched your video whilst doing it and it was so much fun (after this I rewatched old videos of yours)!Lots of love from Switzerland xxx
Josie, a tour of your fabulous closet would be amazing.
Hi Josie. yes, I would love to see your updated wardrobe tour ☺💖
I think the way you have made use of the drawers for your tech and stationary is actually efficient and an effective use of the storage space you have :-)
It's always a work in progress, which is a good thing, it means we stay in touch with how much we have and can think properly about how we or someone else can get the most use out of it. :-)
OOh let me know if you try it!!
Currently on my way back from a business trip and you just uploaded the vlog! Perfect timing Josie thank you ☺️
Woohoo!
I so love a good clearout and sort through. Makes you feel so productive x
Hi Josie, I was thinking that you might enjoy a small coffee maker and microwave station somewhere in your dressing room or the room outside your dressing room that you are organizing. I think you would love the convenience of it and it could also be a lovely setup with a bistro table and chairs. Now, I have to clean out too!🥰
I love that idea!!!
Such a good idea, a little peaceful space for a coffee break, maybe a few fashion or country magazines and the opportunity to really admire all the lovely clothes
Perhaps in the landing area?
What happened to your thermos cup?
Just cleared out my wardrobes too, so this really resonates. Very satisfying! And I love that you like to wear stuff we can still buy ... nothing more annoying than falling for something that’s no longer available x
Josie,
YES, please share a closet tour! 👩🏻🍳🤗
Love
Hi Josie! Glad to see you back vlogging :) it brightens my day. I'd be interested in an updated wardrobe tour and shopping your cast-offs.
That’s a thing well done 👍 purge, clear out and organisation 😊
oh là là, Dickens 😍 ... I love him too much 💕 and his paw ... too cute 🥰
Thanks for everything Josie Jolie 🙏 💐 ✨ 💞
Your closet and dressing room is amazing!! So beautiful!
All of your cloaked so nice. I would find it hard to get rid of any but we all love how you find us new ones. Love just watching how you organize.
America needed your vlog now more than ever ! thank you for the needed escape !
You can do what you want, i love all you do.
Now this is the kind of content I love! I've missed this...
Yay!!! I always love your wardrobe clear out videos! Just finished clearing out my closet too. New year, fresh start. 😁💙
Love your videos and your style. Happy to help you de-stash!
Definitely need a tour! Thank you for another lovely video ❣️
Josie you need to stop buying knitwear,I think!! I'm exhausted after all that sorting!!😂😂😂
I cleaned my wardrobe out last fall to the bare bones and am slowly gathering more clothes. It feels good to purge once and a while. And I always watch the videos to the end. Have you considered adding back in that fun tidbit of a word or a emoji to show that’s being done? Have a good weekend Josie and Boys, of course his Lordship Charlie. xx ❤️🌸
You will feel so cleansed having that clean out great job! We are in a very hot summer so inside with air con and declutter😊
There was something oddly cathartic about seeing you do a clear out and organize, even if I’m just here with my cabinets filled to the brim ☺️
Wardrobe organization tour would be lovely
Just a quick tip. For all my tall boots that I don’t have proper boot inserts for I use those pool noodles. I just cut them to fit then all my boots stand up nice and straight.
This is such a great idea!!
Would love a full tour, also would love to see your skincare collection. Xx
You’re the best josie! Stay safe and remember to keep smiling in these weird times, sending lots of love from a small TH-camr❤️ ❤️
Jeez girl I can not believe the amount of stuff you have. What a waste on saving the environment
You are amazing!! Thank you so much for your videos❤️❤️❤️ You inspire me and I am very thankful 😌❤️💕
You and Julia are my faves too ☺️💕
I love organisational clear outs - it’s the OCD pixie(or 😈) in me.
I'm so glad you're back Josie. A Blessed New Year to you and your family.🎉
Yes I would love to see a full wardrobe tour
Yes would love to see your wardrobe tour and thanks as always for tonight’s content xx
love love love from Poland , i like to watch your clearout....most of these things dreams to dream of me ;-)
I would love to see how your wardrobe looks and where you put all your clothes and cant wait for your bathroom to be done
I would be more than happy to see you in clothes that you've had for years and you can pop new alternatives in the description for us to buy!
Yes to a wardrobe tour!
Would love a wardrobe blog. You seriously need some liners for your designer bags (even if it’s only for when they are stored) it really helps them keep their shape. You could also leave a few of the bags in the outer area where the hanging rails are
