I’m a member at Glebe. When fishing over to far bank do you start short or as close as possible to bank ? also when would you use a bomb rather than feeder? Cheers
Hi Chris, in the spring/summer months I would cast as close to the far bank as I could as this is generally where your going to catch more fish, however if your not catching then coming further off the far banks worth a try, especially in the winter or cooler months. Generally a bomb is better when fishing just off the far bank with 8mm pellets if the feeder isn’t working or in the colder months when the water is colder and clearer and a feeder is not working. Hope this helps 👍.
Hi Chris, I would probably still use a minimum of 0.17 because the carp still fight hard mate, if it’s hard and your looking for only a few bites you need to make every bite count so that’s why I personally opt to fish fairly heavy.
Great video, keep up the good work lads.
Crazy fishing video thanks subbed!
Interesting video going to the glebe next month for qualifier 👌🏻🎣🎣

Hi, for winter /spring feeder and bomb fishing at the Glebe, what strength hook lengths would you use? Thanks
