Hot take: there's nothing wrong with keeping makeup you don't use for collection / packaging sake if the person is realistic about it. Its not how I view my makeup. But people collect all kinds of stuff and no one questions them - a friend collects giraffe figurines lol. If someone wants to keep their palettes just to have a shelf beautifully lined with a specific range from a brand or whatever, that should be totally fine.
Makeup is not a collectible. It’s meant to be consumed. Giraffe figurines don’t expire. Furthermore, makeup, not in large, decreases in value whereas some collectible items may increase in value.

(Even though it's never happened.🤣) Personally, I scrape off and throw away products after 2-3 yrs. I keep the packaging and refill it with a drugstore equivalent. I would love to see a video duping your own palette! I’m so sad I missed out on the Giant Wolves palette - it just wasn’t in my budget at the time. Not many color stories really captivate me, but your palette was so beautifully done and both the colors and the theming were so perfect for my tastes! Everyone did such an amazing job with their Odens Eye collabs! (P.S. I already know the answer, but any chance it’ll ever come back? 🥺)

Ikr. I wasn't able to get it because there was a stupid block on my card from certain countries. And where odens eye is located that wasn't supposed to be on the list. Plus money was tight. I was dying to get her palette. I'm gonna try to dupe it myself. But still. I recently got the block off and was at least able to order the other 2 collab palettes and the 2 single highlighters.

It’s so difficult for me indulge in my hobbies, especially when it’s something nonessential like makeup, much less return to ‘normal’ life. Hopefully we’ll both get our shots at that palette (either in dupes or a nigh impossible restock) and get through this pandemic!

I care for my mom who is 77, has emphysema, diabetes, and is bed ridden.. she even got it on 12/16, along with pneumonia! She ended up in the hospital, and got MRcr while there!! (There’s a bright side!lol) she’s back home, and doing great! My 3 kids, and elderly dad all felt crumby for maybe a day or 2.. for her, it could’ve been deadly, but it wasn’t! We feel darn fortunate! As much as I LOVE makeup, and still play with what I have.. I rarely actually do my makeup! I swatch my pretty shadows, then go out bare faced! Lol

It always shocks me that people are socially inept enough to DM someone they don't know and beg for stuff. The need for a disclaimer always baffles me lol.
Sometimes they aren’t even subscribed and they search out declutters and giveaway videos just to beg for stuff. I know some of them may be teens or very young adults who aren’t mature, but at those ages I didn’t have much makeup because I didn’t have the funds, but didn’t beg anyone to give me some. It’s poor taste to beg.

I enjoyed the randomness of the declutter also i think some of copacetic shadows have changed formulas a tad some are more creamy now i definitely struggle with her pressed flackies enough to just buy around them love their nail polish 💅 though. They were my gateway into indi polish 🙈 that’s definitely cost me an arm and a leg but such unique colors down that rabbit hole

Both of your collab palettes are really beautiful! The butterfly one is something that I would have gravitated more towards a few years ago because I used to be all about bright colors. Now I love more muted colors and cooler tone neutrals. However I’m happy that I have both of your palettes. The butterfly palette screams happy when I open it. I like it more so for the spring and summer. 🙂

I'm so glad you get it when it comes to the Margarita palette from Glamlite. They have so many other colorful palettes with more depth. I was beginning to think I was alone out here but Annette to the rescue. hahaha
I love with your declutters Its not the same 4 brands on repeat. Love the lesser known guys' O Lord I am going to have to open my wallet for that Chess palette. I also have the Tinkerbell, quite honestly I am stumped. The one pink blends out to a godawful grey hue on my skin tone. I use other palettes with it. Judy actually did a video with 3 looks, They seem soft and not so garrish( like the look I did) Happy New Year to everyone :)

Totally understand what you mean I get a new palette it’s all I want to play with and for you especially with everything coming into your collection unless it’s a diehard fave of course you’re just not going to reach for certain palettes anymore, and tbh with the sheer amount you have sometimes you just plain forget about the mediocre ones I know I do and my eyeshadow collection tops out at 39 palettes and I’ve gotten rid of a lot this past yr . I’ve learned what I like in a formula so when I hear the description of certain ones I know immediately if it’s for me I do not like flaky shimmers/metallics no matter how special because on my hooded eyes glitter glue or not they transfer all over my eyes and down my face , super intense mattes are just to hard for me to blend without turning them muddy so I like intense but not extremely intense lol. Once we find out what our sweet spot is it’s hard to use formula’s we don’t love and let’s be real there’s new Brands dropping weekly and reformulations to existing Brands that there’s definitely a formula out there for everyone. But I will always be a sucker for a soft creamy “ special “ shadow by Glaminatrix and Clionadh Terra Moons is on my list to try in 2022 need to let my savings acc grow again I got seriously carried away with Christmas this yr I was just way to happy and excited to have my Family around me again lol.
People are crazy im telling you… i always get multiple people emailing me with their sob stories saying nothing would cheer them up more than some of my palettes. 🙄🙄🙄

So I literally taken out my pen and my pad and written down the names of some brands that I want to dive into in 2022 not much caring if they're older launches but just want to get my toes wet and some of them. Lol I love that menagerie violet ink tones so much I bought backups of all the mattes from there 🤭 those are my most loved purples because they lean blue not pink or red 🙌😂

I'm so glad you get it when it comes to the Margarita palette from Glamlite. They have so many other colorful palettes with more depth. I was beginning to think I was alone out here but Annette to the rescue. hahaha

I love with your declutters Its not the same 4 brands on repeat. Love the lesser known guys' O Lord I am going to have to open my wallet for that Chess palette. I also have the Tinkerbell, quite honestly I am stumped. The one pink blends out to a godawful grey hue on my skin tone. I use other palettes with it. Judy actually did a video with 3 looks, They seem soft and not so garrish( like the look I did) Happy New Year to everyone :)
Ive done two looks with the chess palette now and OMG its so good 😭😭. Wait till u watch my video with it, im having the best time with it so far!

The bad witch pallette you could dupe that with the book of magic and the opulence pallette from beauty bay I have those two pallettes and feel like I could do the same types of looks with them but the bad witch pallette is beautiful I need to get the wilderness pallette before they stop selling that one too

Totally understand what you mean I get a new palette it’s all I want to play with and for you especially with everything coming into your collection unless it’s a diehard fave of course you’re just not going to reach for certain palettes anymore, and tbh with the sheer amount you have sometimes you just plain forget about the mediocre ones I know I do and my eyeshadow collection tops out at 39 palettes and I’ve gotten rid of a lot this past yr . I’ve learned what I like in a formula so when I hear the description of certain ones I know immediately if it’s for me I do not like flaky shimmers/metallics no matter how special because on my hooded eyes glitter glue or not they transfer all over my eyes and down my face , super intense mattes are just to hard for me to blend without turning them muddy so I like intense but not extremely intense lol. Once we find out what our sweet spot is it’s hard to use formula’s we don’t love and let’s be real there’s new Brands dropping weekly and reformulations to existing Brands that there’s definitely a formula out there for everyone. But I will always be a sucker for a soft creamy “ special “ shadow by Glaminatrix and Clionadh Terra Moons is on my list to try in 2022 need to let my savings acc grow again I got seriously carried away with Christmas this yr I was just way to happy and excited to have my Family around me again lol.
