This is declutter adjacent, but I LOVE seeing heavily used makeup in other people's collections! Especially when it's a product that is talked about a lot on the channel. I don't know, I think it relates to trustworthiness and shows what is worth the purchase instead of searching the sea of first impression videos to figure out what I want to buy on a buget.
I agree! If I see a lot of people I follow declutter an item, I know not to waste my time trying it. If a lot of people hang on to it, I give it a try.
I've really come to value declutters to help give guidance on what to purchase. You know it's good if someone keeps it over all the other stuff!

I would never ask anyone for their used makeup. If they offer if it is one thing but I do not understand how people can even work up the nerve to ask. I could never. Love you and your videos.
I love your declutters because I share your views on these. Im not a big bronzer or highlighter person. I always go back to my Revolution highlighter. I like it even more than idea. I recently declutter Ed these too and have what’s left in a little box on my makeup table. Never stop being you! Your attitude is so refreshing!

There’s multiple products I wish kaleidos would bring back but laser glazer is the one I want the most. Such a gorgeous highlighter for darker skin

Annette, I had the same concerns with my Nabla highlighter when I first started using it. I don’t know how many times you’ve used it, but after a while of working through the top layer, it got sooo much better! I hope this helps ☺️
It was nice to see the Ofra medium face pallets. I might add that to my wish list for the future. I have plenty. I like the ND one as well. You have a lot of bronzer tones I’ve wanted to see because I prefer a redder vs. golden color lol.

This inspired me to order some makeup from Catkin. I am very excited to try out the products that I picked out. I got the cushion foundation, a carved lipstick and the highlighter/cheek blush. I didn't get a highlighter because I also just ordered the moon cruiser from Kaleidos.

Ahhhhh. I am obsessed with highlighters and this video made my soul happy. Luckily I have a middle ground skintone so most Highlighters work for me. I love the crazy, the glittery, the bright, the icy... well.... all Highlighters 🤣

Thank you for giving full reviews on all as you went through and swatching so many. I own a few of the older ones I got on sale from Bitter Lace Beauty (the Mermaid themed ones and ones with flowers pressed) and I LOVE them and wanna get more. Their formula blew me away. And I've wanted to try ofra Highlighters since I first started makeup. I remember they used to come in boxy and ipsy all the time but of course when I signed up they stopped 🤦♀️🤣

I am light medium 47 yr old with sunspots..i have 1 bronzer from milani and 1 bronzer from physicians formula...and its still too much! Congrats for your ruthlessness. sometimes its good to just spend some time figuring out what REALLY works for you! 😘😘💎
I agree so much on the wet n wild packaging! I love there one highlighter but I can’t stand the packaging and it broke. I love there spongebob palette it is gorgeous! There’s a few glitters which are kind of annoying but I can make them work if I just freckle them on as topper sparkles but the shimmers are beautiful, I always pull it to use with other palettes.
This is a solid declutter. Most people keep things they dont wear because of other reasons and u only did that once. I know this will feel grear and will help ur organization. I have several of those Cover FX duos and I forget to wear them. They are gorgeous. I know others will enjoy getting ur decluttered products. 💞💞

I have all the rituel de fille ones and use them in my inner corner every day because they're sooooo bright, not sure if that's recommended but my eyes haven't fallen out since I got them and I've panned two of them so 🤷🤣 just can't be beaten xo
Icy highlighters are my fave but i do have to go over ofra highlighters with foundation on areas that are not my cheeks.

I'm just starting to get into highlighters, but as eyeshadows. I'm masked 12+ hours a day, 6 days a week, so am not wearing complexion products. Kaleidos Prophecy and Gifted make for subtle but fun eye looks with a light dusting. Heavier handed, they give me all of the major space-babe vibes. Bitter Lace Unity is another highlighter that I find incredibly versatile and can make multiple looks from just one pan.

I agree completely with you about people asking for used makeup. It is* really rude and gross. Not to mention just….kinda weird? Like: no matter what, viewers don’t actually know* you. It’s just…it’s weird, ya’ know?
Also; Re; the Rituel de Fille products for future reference. I’ve found that for me, if I give it a good spray with a setting spray, it dries down to a manageable degree. :)
I'm just starting to want to try pressed multichromes. Which brand would you recommend trying 1st? 2022 is my low buy & declutter year so trying to make my purchases wisely!
I decluttered almost all of my Ofra highlighters this month and am down to 2 powder blushes since I prefer creams.
If you are wanting to get into multichromes, I would suggest also checking out Milly’s channel Bad to the Brow. She has a multichrome Monday series that she has been doing for a while

holy cow and i thought i had a collection of stuff :) you know if any of your blushes are made from pigments you can actually take the powder make sure its ground to fine powder and there is a additive you can add to it to where you can use it to paint with :) just a thought for the future if you ever needed paint and wanted to take a trip on the wild side :) some highlighters you can use for a opal kind of look :) awesome decluttering :D i think i now have a total of 4 highlighters and 2 blushes LOL! my staple bronzer tarte doesn't make anymore :( i love the fiesty blush which i use as a bronzer. i know two years ago i had a ton of both and some shadows that were pigments, the ones i kept for colour i normally use the others i gave to a friend for painting and some i gave to my step daughters. the ones they didnt want i donated they weren't used just swatched. did you ever find your perfect highlighter, bronzer or blush yet? oh also do you know of any dupes for the tarte fiesty blush by any chance?
Which additive can you add to use it as paint? I wouldn’t mind doing so. 🎨

I think the odens eye highlighters are gorgeous, but I also noticed that they got hard panned so easily too and the color itself is also underwhelming when you swatch it like some other highlighters I’ve tried that you would assume would be blinding. Maybe I’ve just gotten spoiled with how pigmented Ofra highlighters are that a lot of these others I try just don’t compare.
I am very pale so i may have to invest in some ofra highlighters!

I think green and purple are tough colors to find for highlighters. They're all too blue/aqua leaning in my experience 😮💨

Luv, you can remove the two colors that you don’t like from the lethal trio and put them into the two single lethal compacts and then declutter. You can put isotope in with the blush you like and then you have one empty space. Just an idea 🤷🏽♀️
She literally said that she was going to remove the bronzer and highlighter and declutter them. Then put two other lethal blushes in the palette . . .
I just decluttered 14 highlighters and for me that’s a lot because I used to not be able to let go of even one. Since you gave the disclaimer I will also. I’m not giving my highlighters away to anyone who asks either. They are already going to other people. 🤣🤣🤣🙈
A lot of those bronzers are super red toned! I dislike that in a bronzer. I need to destash my reddish bronzers, but I prefer a truly neutral bronzer (not too cool or it looks like a strip of dirt on my face!!) I’m quite naturally ruddy. Also too “icy” in highlighter not too good neither. I like “intense,” too but not that shows texture.it’s a very fine line. 🤷🏻♀️ what can I say I’m sure picky!!

I don’t care about looking bronze that much. I use bronzer but it’s hard for me to pan them. I only panned the Hulu one but that was back when I was getting my first degree and I used to care more about looking bronze back then. 🌞
Hold on... I'm reading these comments, and it seems like decluttering makeup videos is a "thing" now?! 🤷🏻♀️ lol I'm not much of a trendy video watcher, so I had no idea. I'm the WORST makeup hoarder! Lol. I can't imagine throwing away my makeup. You're strong, girl! Recently, literally everything I own got stolen out of my car... (was going through a break up and had nowhere to go, and nowhere to put any of my belongings)... and of course all of my makeup was in my car. I just found out yesterday it was my "best friend" and her mom that took everything. All of my clothes, shoes, makeup, hygiene products, etc. Smh. So I guess I was kind of "forced" into decluttering my things. Lol. No she's selfish..only gives to her friends, that Im sure aren't poor and could buy their own..just so she can feel some type of way.. I refuse to ever watch her again..she didn't have to make such a big deal out of it.. I feel like it's "poor people shaming".
Understand that you find it rude for people to ask you for your makeup you're decluttering but I think that maybe people ask just because they can't afford to buy it themselves. Don't think people mean to be rude about it 🙂 Just a thought. A lot of people don't have the room in their economy for nice makeup. It's of course not your problem though. Otherwise a good decluttervideo. Always watch your videos 🙂 Kinda sad about the attitude from other comments about them being so horrible. Kinda depressing view on other people 😞 I try to think more positive about it, but maybe I'm the odd one out.
I think the problem is that people will share these sob stories and try to guilt people into sending them makeup. And it just puts the person they're asking in an awkward position. Which is a rude thing to do. If they can't afford it, then they should save up until they can. I personally don't know why anyone would want someone else's old, used makeup anyways. It's gross.

I was totally hoping that the Nabla highlighters were going to be really good (I have privilege also)… But I do find them to be very underwhelming even though the packaging is beautiful and the highlighter itself looks pretty in the pan… but It just doesn’t do it for me.
