My favorite map. Love its vibe and aesthetic (I prefer the night maps tbh), the ways to get into the facility, the mission is great and the accident kills possibilities too. The only thing I don't like so much is the challenges, it feels like it doesn't have as many challenges as other maps and feel kind of repetitive. The main mission also doesn't feel with so much replayability, expecially compared with mendonza which has an absurd ton of ways to do the main mission.
I love playing Chong qing, one reason being that I was born and raised in China. It feels so good to see somewhere familiar in the game, especially when the dev decided to put the ICA data center there lol
i think you hit the nail on the head with the environmental aspect. Chongqing isn't my go to map due to the dark and gritty lighting and nature. I much rather prefer something bright and easygoing.
Tbh I think Royce is a really underrated target, and (unpopular but meh) is better than Hush. She does what she’s introduced as - an overseer. Professional, cold, yet still funny at times and you can sympathise with her. She deserves more but as is great target. Hush feels kinda… secondary to me? Idk the fact he’s not in the facility makes him disjointed from the ICA. Ik it’s his hideout but still, I’d like to see him in the facility, even as a lore. Also he needed an expansion on his mentorship with Olivia.
actually, the ica smg raptor covert is not the second best smg. The second best smg is definitely the slapdash smg since it is literally just the dak x2 covert but worse looking and easier to get
i love the atmosphere of this map but the design is one the weakest in the series imo. way too many cramped areas with lots of enforcers (although my opinion might be affected by the jinzhen incident)
