all the Honda's i've had, had a copper o-ring for an exhaust gasket. the purpose is to seal the pipe to the head to ensure correct combustion/back pressure from the rest of the system.
I bought the same exhaust almost 13 years ago now over 3000miles on it now stil going btw you are missing the baffle one from thailand will fit in with a little tapping and screw in that hole on the end it will sound and perform better. Good luck nice bike.
