Hi Bobby, I’m looking at getting a pair of the Mundials and I’m curious about sizing as I’ve seen conflicting opinions online regarding whether one should size up, size down, or simply stay true to size. Great video mate and thanks a bunch in advance!
And how long do you recon would the Mundial's soles will last if one were to wear them as casual (+ the occasional football round). There is this store selling both Kaisers and Mundials for around 80 bucks
The Kaisers say "upper - leather". So I'd say that the are made of whatever cow leather Adidas use on other leather football boots. Apart from that, I don't know. The Mundials are made of Kangaroo leather. The same as Copa Mundial football boots.
@@Daniel-dj7fh I got all of those shoes from Ebay sellers years ago (2014). My newest pair arrived in 2017. I check online for these shoes to keep up with the prices whether I need new shoes or not. It's like a hobby for me. Recently when I checked, I couldn't find Kaiser indoor. I didn't look all that hard and as for the Mundials, sellers were asking as much as $280.00 Australian dollars. Stupid prices and way more than I will ever pay. Shoes last a long time for me. I've been wearing the older Mundials since 2014. I wear them as casual shoes all the time and any ball kicking I do happens on game days when I'm warming up and preparing goalkeepers for the game ahead. I'm lucky that shoes last me as long as they do. I really can't say how long a pair of shoes will last someone else. I get around 5 years out of my Mundials before I started to notice all the little stones on the path when I'm walking the streets.
@@bobby2292 I don't know if you've got Decathlon (a french Sportsstore) near you or anywhere in Australia where you could order from, but they're selling them for quite resonable money here in Germany. Would you say the Kaisers are cow leather or that from a pig?
Both pairs of shoes look similar and fit comfortably and share the same sole but the one main difference is that the Kaiser shoes are made from cow leather and the Mundials are made from kangaroo leather. It's as simple as that.
I bought a pair of Mundial Goals from Amazon in 2020 for around $72.00 USD since then the price has gone up to #100.00 USD. Great pair of shoes super comfortable right out of the box but FFS a hundred bucks?!!!
$110. Now on Adidas website showing as "New offering" changed to cow leather, not Kangaroo anymore. Mine are Kangaroo, made 3/2020. Think they're caving to the California crowd. Love my roo Mundial Goals. Go to the site and read description and specifications. It's changed

Any idea what leather the Kaiser's are made of, I've heard that the Mundials are Kangaroo leather.

@@Daniel-dj7fh Thanks for the suggestion. I didn't know about them. I'll check them out.
What are the main differences?
