These are beautiful. I practice with dead soft copper which is reasonably priced. The longer length leftover is more practical for use for other elements, e.g., earring wires, head pins, single bead links, etc. Shorter length could be more wasteful. Or could be recycled. If I worry about waste, I won't experiment as much. Thank you.
I love this it’s Awesome looks so great, I definitely will have a go at making this, ive not seen this wire pattern before. Thank you for making this video, your tutorials are quality and very enjoyable your a great teacher. I will follow your Ticktock. Laura in Uk
How many holes do you have in your windows?! I think I am going to have quite a few! I can see myself getting into a right old mess trying this! 😂😂 thank you for sharing!
I found it so hard to keep 3 wires together then try to place other 3 wires to link in before bending to make the knot any tips please ..love how the knots look x
BEAUTIFUL!! I have a question... you said 6 inches per strand of wire. It looks like theres a lot of excess. Do you think 5 or even 4 inches may work? Thanks!💖
You could experiment with 4" and 5" lengths of practice wire (such as copper or craft wire), to see if those lengths are effective at making the knot. Oftentimes, longer lengths of wire are easier to manipulate and maneuver than shorter lengths of wire. Having longer lengths of excess wire is useful for making findings, such as eye pins, beaded links, and (if at least 1¾" long) ear wires, so using 6" lengths of wire to have longer lengths of excess isn't as wasteful as it seems; they are saved and used at my workbench. 20 gauge wire is appropriate for these types of findings, especially when the findings are tumbled or manually work-hardened with a rawhide or plastic mallet, after making them.
This looks so pretty and it looks to be adaptable so it can be made to individual sizes. I was wondering with other beading or wire projects, how do you adapt to size? I have a 7 inch 18 cm wrist. I would like to adapt my bracelets to fit between 7 1/2 to 8 inches or 19 to 20 cm. I like them to be a little loose. Any suggestions?
What is the maximum gauge you have used for this knot? What are the maximum amount of wires you have used? I would like to make something chunkier versus more dainty. Thank you!
I was thinking the same. Why not just start on the far ends and measure up to where that first centre bend is, then double that distance, maybe add a centimeter extra for use while working it, and then trim only that tiny bit off after instead of all that wasted material? I'm not a zero waste person but this seems like 60% of the material being used isn't actually used. And that's such a material waste, monetary waste and just... Why not use the perfectly good material for more links or for other projects? I honestly thought she would weave all the knots in one go and then separate them and then attach them to each other afterwards and have almost zero waste leftover.
I love the look of these knots. However you are wasting so much wire. Materials are expensive and I see no reason for all the waste. Please think of the world that we live on, you are destroying it! Definitely not watching you ever again!
@@hollylowery26 I’m not sure you understand that the knot couldn’t be made without the lengths of wires being all of the same. The wire cut off was definitely not waste, it can be set aside for a variety of other projects. To accuse her of not thinking of the planet is just crazy! You made sure to point out because of this your never watching her again! How old are you?? Others apparently have ignored your bad behavior and your immature words, I find them childish and uncalled for.
If this helps any. I can never follow along with any tutorials I’m watching. I watch, then watch, stop at each turn. They also have a transcript on some videos I’ve found. That helps also.

Could not be better.
Why cut 6 x 15 cm when 5 x 10 cm later end up in the trash

Your links are amazing, but you talk so fast I have a problem staying with you. Yes, I can rewind but what’s the point?
Try watching the video before you make something that is very profitable.I have the same problem, also try to watch her when you are calm.💯
Thank you,I’ll keep that in mind
