    Just found your tutorial. I love the Josephine knot, but I hadn't thought of using my copper wire to make links. Brilliantly explained, thanks

    This was a perfect demonstration of how to make the Celtic knot. I am making a necklace now, and want to incorporate this with beads. Thanks so much.

    I like this design one because of how delicate it is but also because you have the sturdiness of the wrapped loops but also the ease of connecting witch jump rings. I love wrapped loops I HATE attaching them to each other. I always forget to keep it open.

  • @updownstate
    @updownstate 5 ปีที่แล้ว

    So perfect. A lot of interest but not crowded. The loop pliers are the greatest thing since sliced bread.

  • @lucindapage8209
    @lucindapage8209 8 ปีที่แล้ว

    So delicate, yet, not difficult at all. Practice needed to get the knot don without linking the wire, but, if you are willing to put in some practice time, the instructions are clear and concise, so making this can be done by anyone! I love her videos!

    thanks for this. it took a while to get used to the way the knots went but when you get the hang of it, it comes together pretty fast. unfortunately i couldnt make mine as long as yours, i made a few mistakes with the knots which made me run out of the wire i was using. so i had to stick with a short necklace. i used some gold coloured aluminium wire and some very small white plastic pearls. it looks pretty good

  • @sarahlou40
    @sarahlou40 4 ปีที่แล้ว +3

    Ah this is absolutely stunning Christina. I tried to make one of the more simple designs and found it very difficult, I think the wire I used was far too thick so couldn’t manipulate it. I lost courage but am going to try again!

    Love it.. I especially like jewelry that is made completely by hand. I made a necklace called the wave.. my disappointment is I can't get it to lay right.. it twists and is unwearable. I can't figure out why. If I could find out why I would make others because it was all handmade and very gratifying! Thanks for another great video!

      +1994abbygirl is there a local bead/jewelry making guild you could join and maybe ask for some feedback on how to get the necklace to lay flat? Sometimes the guilds even have Facebook pages. Usually people are very friendly and willing to help you out with some suggestions.
