@immaanimefreakgurl u are so right girl.... i thought i was the only one having a dejavu coz of this anime keep making me think about fushigi yuugi... u could also see that mostly of the characters here is the same in fushigi yuugi the only difference is the color/length of the hair and eyes, but everything else is so much like fushigi yuugi... guess Yuu Watase hasn't got over of fushigi....

Oh yeah there is a sequel to this not the anime version but the manga version that never got an English translation I think it's called Episode of Miku taking place after the events of Ayashi no Ceres and it seems that Miori comes back from the dead as a clone really nuts.
