He might get 50 home runs when he starts pitching again, but he's not going to be stealing 50 bases. I don't think his coaches are going to let him. Also, when he finally is forced to give hitting or pitching up, even though he's going to pick hitting in his old age, he's not going to have the speed in his legs anymore at that point to steal that many bases.

Its given because football was more globally recognized than baseball , but ohtani has the same magnitude as messi and other greats, they can gain fans or got recognized even they not really following the sport. Im not even playing baseball or following baseball since its not really popular to my country, but here i am being a fan (not only with shohei or dodgers) but also with baseball in general.
