"Twitter" is a unique and identifiable name known across the globe. "X" is a single letter that in most people's minds is already associated as a placeholder ("going to X to do Y") and/or in an NSFW context. Plus, it's pretty much impossible to search for a one-letter name and you always have to give context for what you're referring to when mentioning it...
Even something utterly stupid like "elontopia" would have been a better choice. At least that would be identifiable...

The thing is that Facebook only change the company name, but the social media is still named Facebook.

Facebook wasn't rebranded to Meta. Zuck founded a new company Meta which became the parent company of all his other projects including facebook. Elon just thinks the letter X is cool I guess.

It really makes me happy to see so many Hololivers that are against the change. Calli, Iofi and even Amelia. The blue birb was not only cute, but it was *THE* icon that many people associate it with. It's simple, but recognizable. Changing to a bland looking "X" not only makes it look like a SUS site, but it completely removes Twitter's brand recognition. I don't want a single soul on this earth to stop referring it as "Twitter." It was, and always will be, that way for nearly two decades.
