I recon that its not actually your PC that is struggling but the Minecraft game engine shitting itself because its very poorly optimised in terms of memory and GPU management/allegation causing a sort of bottlenecking situation. I would guess that if you looked that task manager you would see that it is not struggling as hard as you would think, your temps would also be indicative of this along side that fact that you are managing to stream the video in 1440p.

Been playing ATM9 for months now on a LAN world, it runs fine, it's just when it does that initial load up, launch it and go do the dishes or something. If you tab out or click off screen it'll crash. Setting the dedicated ram to the recommended amount is all you need. Haven't had any issues running it now and I've stressed our server pretty hard lol. Ryzen 9 5950x, 32gb ddr4 ram and a 3080ti FE.
came here to say that, as long as you dont touch anything you wont ever crash, even with 500+ mods
@@Jhey-s Yup. You can even run like TNP Limitless (with some struggle) with only 16gb ram. ATM9 shouldn't have any issues aside from the classic "dont touch it when it is booting up or when it is loading a world."

That's impressive. I never really play "official" modpacks but rather just throw in anything that looks interesting and usually start encountering stability issues above 200 mods. Just so you know, sometimes you have to wait a bit, it might freeze when creating a world with large modpacks.
