I was thinking about it and I could absolutely see them doing a season 2 of it because they could go all the way to present day with it. And if they wanted to continue into present day, they could just redo seasons 1 & 2 of Bridgerton from the Queen's perspective.
I honestly mean no shade to Julia Quinn, just stating a fact. The first two seasons of Bridgerton was good, but it was missing soul and heart. *Queen Charlotte has EVERYTHING!!! And that is because of Shonda Rhimes.* I watched all six episodes on Saturday, and here I am on Wednesday and STILL have chills from the overwhelming beauty of that last episode. Shonda is a Queen for real. And we are so blessed to have her.
Shonda is a savant, a discerning prophet of the pen. She has the experience, education, and observation to be able to tell stories and write them in a way that makes the actors appear far better than what they are. Case in point: Kerry Washington and Ellen Pompeo. God bless Shonda! But Kerry nor Ellen are great actresses. Great actors do not audition. You already have a vision and you pitch it to thespian who can take it to the stratosphere: Viola Davis.
I agree I actually only liked the first series. 2 series Anthony could nit carry the show and lacked any charisma or chemistry. He did much better when he was not the main focus as a result I switched off. QC just reingted that fire and Shondas writing speaks volumes. I'm hoping there will be a further spin off however Shonda would need to put pen to paper once again otherwise il afraid it just will not work. Just stating facts not everyone can write.
How do you pay? I just want to pay for HER class and not the whole subscription like Audible where you still pay for credits even though you're not buying anything
@Suzy Girl unfortunately they changed the model a year ago, before you could pay $90 for individual classes and you own them for lifetime. Now it's all subscription based. But they grandfathered the old plan if you had one. So I still own that class.

They movie Sway is talking about is Chevalier - pronounced Sha-vah-lee-ay. A fictionalized adaptation of the real Black 18th century composer, fencer and violinist named Jospeh Bologne, Chevalier de Saint-Georges. He was one of the first Black composers to receive acclaim in Europe and he lived a very interesting life.
I loved how the light skinned guy gave us insight into the Critics Choice and the Bechel test. I've never heard of that. Shonda is so talented. Is she putting younger people on by apprenticeships?
“Martine Scorcese primarily makes italian lead crime fantasy dramas“ isnt how anyone generally describes his resume. Most just say Scorcese is a great artist. Why is it characterized as some kind of intellectual accomplishment for black artist? Why all this undo pressure on black artist to “crossover“?
Justice for queen Charlotte. That husband storyline was so uncalled for. Season 2 Danbury spoke like she was so in love but they gave us a horror story for that dark beautiful black woman. Shame.
