I would add that one of my "WOW" moments came during the last episode (6) when Charlotte pushed for George to declare his feelings for her...that entire scene had me spellbound. The last scene with the older and younger G&C had me balling like a baby. It hit me like a ton of bricks, the beautiful and tragic love they shared and him saying, "you didn't go over the wall!" I was all in my feelings. PHENOMENAL JOB from the ENTIRE CAST!!!!!!!!👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽💯💯💯👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽
Choro até hoje, e até decorei as falas em inglês pois acho a emoção muito mais intensa nas cenas. Tudo maravilhoso! Chorei no ônibus revendo a cena final❤😅
I just watched it again, so had to come share... I cried just as much this time as I did the first time. It's beautiful and tragic all-in-one, for sure. 🥹 this series and story was magic.

I can’t even express in words what this masterpiece of a show means to me! Just to see India as Queen Charlotte in her jewels rockin her gorgeous afro plastered on the big screen behind them is a MOMENT🥹🙌🏽 This cast is absolutely phenomenal👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽 They deserve allll the awards🏆
God India is so beautiful, talent, mature funny, graceful, humble, intelligent, articulate woman, No Doubt The Best choice for *Queen Charlotte*, the intire show is magnificent, such a pleasure to be delighted by their undeniable wonderful work, every aspect of the show in every different areas they put everything of themselves to deliver such an extraordinary gem!!!!! Thank you so much ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
One of my favorite characters in the show is Lady Danbury and I think Arsema played her so well. Arsema is very lovely, intelligent, and seems like she has a nice personality. I loved learning more about Lady Danbury's, and everyone else's backstory. I'm excited for the other seasons.
Netflix dropping this interview finally😂. Okay, I will have to watch Tudum just because of India and Corey. These three young actors gave their all with their individual performances to make their characters likeable, memorable and made us all understand the current Queen Charlotte and Lady Danbury so much better. Corey was incomparable in his portrayal of the young King George and made us fall in love with their love story.
Corey...the candor that he spoke with so eloquently about what he thinks is what King George ACTUALLY had/went through & wanted to keep it personal for him....I respect him more because of that. For me, came as not just out of respect for the real King George & his trials but also for Corey, as an actor & to pay homage to the person he played in this series.
Oh yeah more QC content! India and Corey are such amazing actors and people that I'm just so obsessed! I find them so fascinating and witnessing their real life friendship is as good if not better than the series! 💛♥🧡
Great interview! Gave me insight I’d been craving to have. Since May 4th I can’t seem to watch anything other than Queen Charlotte and TH-cam reactions from various folks. I check daily for more information about the process of making this phenomenal series. What a gift you gave me this morning! And I’ve got an new episode of the podcast to listen to, too! 😊
Great interview!! Best one so far, it explains everything so well and this was THE best Bridgerton so far! Awesome Love story 💖💕 Well Done! India is going to go far.. Hope they all will.
To me George and Charlotte sparked in the garden when she was trying to go over the walk. George said in season six, George loved her from the first meeting. George demonstrated a personal relationship when he insisted, in the garden Charlotte call him George. All the actress and actors did a magnificent performance.
As a mixed-race Black woman myself, I loved Corey's comments on the interracial relationship aspect, that as a white man in such privilege, while George can't compare to the systemic oppression that India as Charlotte faces as a Black woman, but that he too is oppressed by his family, obligations, and mental illness - and DAMN that was a powerful observation.
About time ❤❤❤let us go 🥹 first FYI Tom, we’re more than the Bridgerton fandom this is one of one TV series stand alone excellence in storytelling and talents ❤
Another great interview. I think Corey got a bit lost there with that question about interracial relationships then and now. Systematic oppression from race vs the high expectations of being a ruler? Yeah nah I am sorry but the parallel there was weak and what does that have to do with interracial relationships? Also I still don't know what he was on about with the staying under the bed during India's scenes.
He specified they were not the same types of oppression, that's the first thing he said though. His point is that they both have a common understanding of what they're going through and they embrace and love each other unconditionally. Charlotte faces systemic oppression because of her race and gender. George faces the oppression of his family - his mother really, who decides that he MUST go through torture all day everyday in order to fit her mould and be accepted in her caste because she and the world around her do not understand what mental illness is and fully reject it. One could argue that it's almost still the same nowadays whether it's race, gender or people suffering from severe mental health issues. The fact that he is a king does not justify or lessen the gravity of torture btw.
systemic* not systematic. and he was describing two different types of oppression. charlotte’s was her gender and race, therefore systemic, and his was familial, therefore individualized. she is dehumanized on a societal scale and he was by his own family.
I understand what you mean and to be fair the "now" parallel perhaps does not exist for him... It's not something that he even perhaps sees or has awareness of. It might be fair to say that without the experience of an interracial relationship now, or an opinion on it, a comparison is difficult. Not bad, simply that there is no "now" parallel for him to draw upon so he could only speak on the "then" part and its portrayal for the series.
I would add that one of my "WOW" moments came during the last episode (6) when Charlotte pushed for George to declare his feelings for her...that entire scene had me spellbound. Lol, arsema said Zee and Zed in the same sentence, mixing up her British and American English. 22:26
Why is no one talking about the fact that Corey auditioned with stuff from the Duke in season 1 of Bridgerton and India auditioned as Daphne….?
That’s just the script they gave the actors and actresses to audition, not by some coincidence 🤣
I loved this couple so much. India and Corey are amazing actors. I’d root for them to win many awards. ❤
