Salmon fishing at Cardrona on the River Tweed 5th August 2022

with the river running below summer level the chances of a fish was very slim. The light had gone and while landing the fish I held the tail and it never collapsed so in the dark I assumed it was a salmon but after editing the recording and allowing more light int the footage its obvious that it was a large seatrout .
Its only a night out and full of enjoyment and hope that anglers that view this do so with the view that we don't get it right all the time
