    Great video as always! Love the financial transparency! 💰💖 My focus right now is to beef up my emergency fund! I haven't had to pull any money out, but I recently came to the realization that a lot of my financial anxiety will (hopefully) go away if I have more of a cushion that is easily accessible without touching my long-term investments. I always tend to think of worst case scenarios happening, no matter how unlikely, so I'm trying to be prepared! 😅

    After Italy can you do a total of everything you spent on the trip? All travel, accommodations, excursions, food, souvenirs, etc

    Always look forward to your monthly resets!! 💕 good luck for your low-spend month this September too. I came back from Europe in Aug, and I’m keen to reel the spending back and start saving for the next holiday even if nothing is set just yet.
    Also I got the Tower28 mascara in Drift as you’d recommended it - I absolutely love it. It only just arrived in NZ in Aug - jumped on it as soon as it landed in stores here 🫶🏼 keep sharing your fave products! X

    Thirfting is so tough for me because I feel connected to the thing I found like it’s treasure, but in all actuality, I probably don’t really like it all that much, I just don’t want to lose it and it’s usually non refundable, didn’t always retain it’s quality and I could have found something more my style somewhere else, brand new.

    • @GabbyPeterson17
      @GabbyPeterson17  14 วันที่ผ่านมา

      That’s so fair!! I’ve heard people talk about this. I find if I thrift with other people I also can buy stuff I end up not liking. Defs a good point to think about.

    😂😂 the cat food is so relatable, it hurts hm I have to spend on 2 cats monthly as well. Great video like always!! I wanted to also ask how am I able to add another credit card on the spreadsheet? I remember you mentioned it in a video but I couldn’t figure out which one it was, thanks in advance! Would love to see a breakdown of what you spent in Europe when you’re back 🫶🏼

    • @GabbyPeterson17
      @GabbyPeterson17  18 วันที่ผ่านมา

      I so feel this!! It's getting crazy expensive to have cats, I've noticed a big jump in costs with Oscar!
      Oh this is something I manually added to my own when I got a fourth card. I think I will update the original tracker to have 4 slots sometime soon, I've had a few requests. However this would be to the original tracker and you'd have to copy and paste the cells in this area from the OG one into your own.
      And yes of course! I am keeping track of everything to total this all up for a video!

    Hi! I’m interested in the AMEX gold but am hesitant on the yearly fee and if it’s worth it. Do you like it and recommend it?! Love your channel btw 💖

    • @GabbyPeterson17
      @GabbyPeterson17  20 วันที่ผ่านมา +1

      Hi!! So funny, I just filmed a dedicated credit card video! I would say it is but only if you get the sign up bonus, otherwise I think the annual fee is too high for the point multipliers. The Amex cobalt gets you more points and it’s cheaper. I am cancelling this one next month after using all my points from the sign on bonus!

    You can actually do a PAP yourself. I don’t remember the website, but my gynaecologist told me about it a while ago. Maybe google it, but they send you the kit with the swab and instructions and you just send it in. ( Im very close to Vancouver )

    which high yield account do you use?

    • @GabbyPeterson17
      @GabbyPeterson17  18 วันที่ผ่านมา

      I am Canadian and currently use the Wealthsimple Cash account which gets me 4.5% I believe.

  • @jenniferjulianjf712
    @jenniferjulianjf712 20 วันที่ผ่านมา

    i heard it’s not good to cancel your credit cards because if it is an old card and you cancel it, it’ll lower your credit score because of the “age of credit” section. Maybe look into that because maybe just downgrading them to a 0$ annual fee card may be better. Not 100% sure if that’s how it is in canada though

    • @GabbyPeterson17
      @GabbyPeterson17  20 วันที่ผ่านมา

      @@jenniferjulianjf712 you are correct! It can depend on the overall amount of credit you have. I misspoke. I do plan on downgrading or transferring my credit to an existing free card with the same bank.

    • @almaaune3596
      @almaaune3596 19 วันที่ผ่านมา

    • @GabbyPeterson17
      @GabbyPeterson17  18 วันที่ผ่านมา

      Great to hear you are caught up! I recommend picking some good low cost index funds (like the S&P). You get more general market exposure and less risk. However I am currently buying some bitcoin in my retirement account just to see what happens, but no more than I am willing to lose. 5% seems totally reasonable.
