Friesland, WI Wig Wags Almost 20 Years Later

I decided to do something different for a video as this was taken where one of my favorite videos watching growing up was. Many people know Brenton81 for the classic CN Freight Train video but not far down from his most popular was a the Friesland Wig Wags video. Since that video was originally captured in August 4, 2004 a lot has changed then and no one has really gotten a video at this crossing nearly 20 years later when it was taken. Until now of course however this isn't the first time me catching a train here as last year I captured a military train here but the video wasn't the greatest. But here we are again today catching a train at the CTH E crossing as I happened to follow MCHAL as I was coming back from Columbus just happened to be going at the right speed to get it west of Friesland, WI and we had the perfect opportunity to catch it at this crossing again. As far as how many changes this area has had over the years well the original CNW signals were replaced with a dual headed safetran vader signal, wind turbines were installed sometime in the early 2010s, and the crossings which are now gated crossings with WCH and NEG E bells on them. And also the track is welded rail which used to be jointed until the late 2000s. They don't run the roadrailer trains here anymore on the UP Adams Subdivision as the usual traffic is just an eastbound and a westbound manifest with coal and coke trains along with ethanol trains as needed.
