@@mountaingeneral If it's cause of succession crisis'/claimants/factions in general, there's two solutions: If high diplo, sway, befriend, and gift gold like crazy, especially the ones who contribute a lot towards that factions military. If you don't have any 'good guy' traits, keep prisoners, especially landed ones of Hostile Faiths, to execute, causing you to gain a lot of dread. Combine that with the Authority focus in the Martial skill trees along with any captured enemy war banners in your throne room and you should be able to shut them up. Also, just two general tips: ALWAYS focus on your provinces first and only improve your vassals if you can't build or upgrade yours and the big traits you'll want to focus on in general are Diplomacy, Stewardship, and Intrigue. Unless you're Culture Head (King or Emperor of your culture group) in which case add on Learning.
