Yes KK expand too fast and had to contract even faster. We had them (nearly) every where around here in AZ (and in Rochester NY before we moved) and here in AZ they all disappeared nearly overnight not sure how fast they went away in NY but when I had been back there was a lot less. Some have come back to AZ but nowhere near as many.
Gas is $5.50+ here in Seattle, but it’s always significantly higher than the US avg. There’s actually a refinery on the coast here, but all that gets shipped overseas due to all the weird world market crap.
Haven’t looked to see if this was posted but in my area when the card tap doesn’t work it means someone has poked very small holes to force people to swipe and use their hacking tool. It was on our local news to report it if we see that occur.
I’m sure it’s not always true but even if the gas station owner knows it’s broken they may not know it could be messed with. So to be safe swipe indoors or there will be a security tape that shows it hasn’t been messed with
Petrol price £1.55 ($2.61 CAD) per litre & £1.65 ($2.77 CAD) per litre here in Scotland. That averages out to £6 or $10.09 CAD/ $7.27 USD per gallon so consider yourselves lucky with your cheap fuel! On the plus side we do have lots of lovely whisky here!
In my humble opinion, Krispy Kreme has the worst doughnuts. Way too sweet for my taste. I realize I’m in the minority but I would almost rather have a grocery store doughnut than anything from KK🤢

Gas in my area right now is $2.95 a gallon (USD). It says a lot that I consider that a good thing.

Gas here in southern Indiana is $3.15 per gallon
Gas in the my state of Ohio is now $2.49 or $3.49 dollars 😊
