Definitely Toto deserve the usual praise but this also has to be one of the best examples of why NOTP should be on every music lover's bucket list. Wish I could have been there... now it's 2021 and I'm not sure I'll ever get to see NOTP live. Or Toto. Also, RIP Mike Porcaro, RIP Ricky Lawson... two musical legends.

This guy is better than Steve Perry. Sick of obsessed Journey fans obsessing over Steve Perry. Steve Perry just naturally has an odd fluffy high male speaking voice which comes out when he sings. That's fine. But enough is enough with Steve Perry. Besides....the guy is like 72 years old now. Steve Perry doesn't sound human. Don't get me wrong, he's a great singer.

The late Ricky Lawson (1954-2013). He filled in for Simon Phillips for the NOTP shows when the latter fell ill. This was not the only time that Toto had fill-in drummers. In 1987, Jeff Porcaro (Toto's original drummer) fell ill with a flu and Gregg Bissonnette filled in for him. Later in 1995, Simon Phillips was recovering from back problems before the Tambu tour and Bissonette joined Toto again.
I LOVE Toto and it's Great to see this video, but not impressed with vocals! Sort of a cross between a hoarse Tommy Shaw and a poor man's Steve Perry! Musicianship is top notch as always!
Tony has the right range for this song. He's smooth, natural and doesn't struggle.

A few examples - Boney M , Bee Gees , Modern talking.
Toto great as always ... but the orchestra's absolutely superfluous except for the brass. Can't hear a single tone ...
