This has always been my favorite minisode because it does so much to set the foundation for Crowley and Aziraphale's relationship as we see it in present day. Aziraphale seeing the good in Crowley and putting his trust in him, and Crowley taking pleasure in giving/watching Aziraphale enjoy the things he likes while also feeling out whether Aziraphale is someone HE can trust. I think this was where they really connected and learned how to communicate with each other.

Personally, I don't think Crowley is in love here. I think he is just entertained, and pleased that this angel is open-minded enough to bend or break rules. First, he gave away the flaming sword on his own, then tries eating human food...so what can he make angel do next?

@@Dragonking-fd1qvI mean imagine telling your fellow demons who don’t like you that you have successfully tempted an Angel into eating human food and basically presenting him to gluttony. Big promotion about to come and it isn’t even lying or taking credit for like WW2.
Maybe also Crowley realized that he wasn’t just building a relationship with someone of the opposite side, but he was also able to manipulate him into doing things that the angel was absolutely repulsed by just a few seconds before. It was an absolute SUCESS for Crowley!
