You're so right about mixing and making sounds 'in context' with the track... because nothing is ever played in isolation, everything interacts. This kick sounds great - but it cuts through along with everything else playing, which is what makes it perfect. The way you're using Soothe2 - have you considered using it on the bass sidechained to the kick - similar to trackspacer - but I did A/B tests on over 10 different dynamic frequency sidechains and let me tell you - soothe2 is SOOOOO fast... with no distortion at all. I would only use it on the 1st bass note in a group of 3 ( KBBB - the first "B") to allow a touch of kick tail to come through a little bit more. Hey Marko, have you seen Kick-3 is coming out shortly.. it looks INCREDIBLE! Allows you to import kicks and it analyses them and recreates them clean along with a ton of features I would never have thought of, but now seem essential! Maybe they'll add more than one usable hat sample for the click 😂 th-cam.com/video/By2EcToFD6s/w-d-xo.html
Thanks for the great tips, have you checked out Kick Ninja from the Him?great plug in for making kicks, also has an A.I feature that u can drop any kick sample you have in it and it recreates it in 3 layers in the plug in and you can edit it in anyway you want, change the pitch, phase, key, length whatever you want. Can also lock the phase from any point you choose so whatever you do to the kick the phase will stay locked from that point in the waveform.Kick 3 also has the A.I kick recreation feature and works amazing too,no more need to drop the kick you want to recreate into the click layer and try copy the waveform, but its still in beta not released yet.
So good to see a eclip tutorial pop up on my feed! It’s crazy how much you process your kicks… seems to work for you tho that kick sounds massive! Also I’m really hoping the next boomland course dates align with me because I dream to make it there for the next one! Do you have any more details on roughly when it will be :)?
Looking forward to see kick 3 tutorials
Yess another video from Eclip always love your style
Very clean mix psy mix is the hardest to get good at ...requires years of experience
@@georginikolov1141 well clean mix in psytrance can spoil the track, psytrance does require the dirth. But yes, clean kick & bass are important!
@EClipChannel it's hard I worked with some top guns is crazy how much time they do the balance.
@@georginikolov1141 i do it in a few hrs. Once the track is done writting the mix and everyhing is at it’s place.

Great to have you back.
Welcome back Marko! Thank you.
Welcome back:)
How do you align th ephase of the kick to the bass when you dont have a steady landing pitch ?
@@eliaszerano3510 i don’t! Only in the case of G note or something close to it. Otherwise it doesn’t have sense.
@@EClipChannel nice to see others seam to bit obsessive with phase alignment
@@eliaszerano3510 nah, only in a few bassling keys!
Great video! Thanks for the in depth info!!

Thanks a lot...great track again!
Have you tried the Audija Kickdrum 2 plugin? Seems like pretty much the best workflow
22 euros right now. Got it the other day, never buying another kick synth ever again...

Where is your virus ?
Thank you for the knowledge!
Maybe he sold it since the chip has been emulated and he just downloaded the roms from access website...

Thanks for the video. BTW, there is something wrong with the white balance on your camera
It's fine, maybe a bit warm. Maybe you mean faded blacks?
I'm sure there is something off. It looks washed. Only on this one, previous videos are fine.
Which version of cubase would you recommend?
Do you believe that a full midi sequenced track can have a better groove than in the box?
Clicky but maybe good for fast trancers
