I think that is literally the only way to play the sims 😂 you play obsessively round the clock for two weeks straight and then you stop playing for 6 months

Which website do you use to find your cc?
Not really one website in particular because I find that the ones from like the generic CC websites aren't as high quality like I like. My suggestion is to go through the sidebar here at The Plumbob Tea Society ( plumbobteasociety.tumblr.com/ ) They're not active anymore but the individuals who made up this group of CC makers are all really talented and some still make content. I'd also grab the older packs that the PTS have made themselves like Rustic Romance and the Cottage Living one. It's all very high quality.
