Hi, we are Stephen, Jess and little Hunter, a traveling family who spent 2020 self-converting a van before moving in full-time to drive around our home country of Australia. We have now completed our lap, said our goodbyes, and resumed full-time travel before we wait for our second baby to arrive.
Welcome back, everybody!! Hope you all had a Merry Christmas and Happy New Year - after taking some time off we are back to weekly travel vlogs with the first being from our time in Singapore! Is there any dishes or spots we missed?

you should go on a transatlantic sailing on the queen mary 2 once your new little one is above 1 year old. it would make a good weeks worth of videos.
Seeing you guys enjoy Singapore makes me so happy. Though I have to caution, Satay by the Bay is a very very (very) average place to eat, incredibly overpriced for the location and people that eat there. You might be better off at places like Old Airport Road Food Centre or Beach Road where the prices are a little less astronomical, but the food still way better.
I'm so glad you guys enjoyed Singapore!!! I was surprised that you called $7 for a meal cheap 😅 To be honest, Satay by the Bay and Lau Pa Sat have subpar and overpriced food compared to the many other hawker centres around! To other tourists looking for places to eat in Singapore, it would be a great idea to go somewhere else. I personally love the Ghim Moh and Adam Road hawker centres

Agreed! Usually in my nearby hawker centre, the prices are usually about 3-4 dollars.. 7 dollars for a meal from the hawker centre to me is quite expensive! Haha…

Welcome to Singapore! Yes, best places to get cheap and good food would be the hawker centres with a huge varieties of Asian foods, not the air-conditioned food courts or restaurants. Besides trying out Milo Dinosaur, you can try Teh Tarik (Pulled tea), Kopi Cino (cappuccino), Teh Cino, Bandung(rose syrup), Soya Bean drink and other beverages. Don't hold back, be adventurous and bon appetite! 😉😋

As a Singaporean, you should try the dark version of the carrot cake...just order it as "carrot cake dark" I guarsntee u all the kids would love it!!!!

I don't have children, but as an educator, I value how encouraging this is for families with wee ones that travel doesn't have to wait until they are older.

Singapore looks incredible! A bucket list destination. Seeing Hunter eat the chicken skewer answered a question I have had since she was born. Would you allow her to eat meat? I was afraid to ask because I did not want to risk offending you guys. I am pleased to see that you guys are letting her try it and for her to decide if she likes it or not. My wife is vegetarian but she is ok with our son eating meat. Great to see Chleo again!
Great question I’m sure a lot of people not just yourself have had! We definitely are very thankful and privileged that we can introduce to our kids as many opportunities and experiences in life - from exploring foods to cultures etc. so they have an educated view on what decisions they want to personally make. I mean we probably won’t cook meat in our house simply because we won’t eat it. But if it’s there we aren’t going to stop her. We will explain in due time why we don’t personally eat it and we can have a discussion then 😊
Singapore is such a unique and beautiful city! Asia isn't one of the continents I'm itching to get to, but I've got to stay I would absolutely love to go here. Between the greenery, stunning architecture and beach activities, there's always something fun to do. Thanks to you guys! I can't wait to meet baby boy. 🥰

The Marina Bay Sands has to be among the most unique set of skyscrapers on the planet. Even the airport has waterfalls and butterfly gardens inside. We have Milo in South Africa as well. Though it doesn’t seem to be as popular now as it was in the early 2000s.
We have Milo in Colombia (milkshakes, cookies, milo nuggets, cereal, etc, ect!) We drink it hot or cold. I love to serve myself a big bowl of vanilla ice cream with Milo spread all over!!🤤 You should visit Colombia! (English is not my first language so I hope nothing gets lost in translation)
I love how Hunter will try absolutely anything. Then even if she doesn't like it, she will just try something else. Sentosa Island wasn't there when I was in Singapore. I wanted to go back, just for those trees, but now I also want a dino milo. 🤣🤣

Singapore looks amazing! I think Milo is actually a thing in South America too. When I came back to Europe from Australia I tried to find it and got it at a South American shop here in Germany. 🙂 I actually want Milo now. Will have to go and get some tomorrrow... 😄
Singapore is quite cleaned and smart city. Free from crime. But each and every Countries have their own Flaws. Big Ones or Small Ones. Nothing can be perfect.

Hi Stephen and Jess. Hope you are doing well, just a thing I recomend, if u arrived by plane at Changi Airport, you must check out Jewel changi airport, a donut-shaped glass dome and shopping center with an hotel and full of greenery and Also an indoor waterfall called the rain vortex.
With Singapore 🇸🇬 in the middle of Asia makes sense for the street food vibes

I went on an exchange program in grade 10 with my school to Thailand, we stayed in Singapore for a night and it was so beautiful! The Singapore flyer was my favourite aswell as the light show! I have heaps of photos on my Facebook 😍❤️

Another great video! Lovely to see Chloe again. I am so glad you showed us these places. I was in Singapore a few years ago I think in 2017 and could never find these food courts. Next time I go I will certainly try the places you have been to.
Personally, I prefer going to the food courts and hawker centres closer to MRT stations. (It's convenient and also I'm lazy). There's one near Sengkang MRT station if I'm not wrong.
I think I needto book a trip to Singapore after watching this. So much to see and do.

Milo is big here in Trinidad 🇹🇹. People have it hot with breakfast, milo cream biscuits for snack and cold milo in cartons to put in kiddies lunch kits. Children here grow up on it. My family loves the dry milo powder with dry powdered milk mixed together and eaten with a spoon 😅. Don't knock it till you try it 😉
