Hi, we are Stephen, Jess and little Hunter, a travelling van life family who self-converted their dream house on wheels - we now live full-time in our Sprinter van called Cooper as we do a full lap of our home Australia.

San Antonio is a fabulous city! We have very dear friends (with whom we travel the world) who live there and are travel writers. We visited them and stayed at their lovely home outside of town during a very cold week (temps in upper 20's/low 30's F) in December 2016, during the annual holiday Luminaria Festival. Between touring the entire Mission Trail, enjoying sunset from the bar atop the Tower, exploring all the Riverwalk and all the Reaches (including warming up with coffee in the Hotel Emma Lobby), and eating great Tex-Mex, it was an awesome trip! We also took a day trip to the Hill Country and the charming towns out that way. Hope you enjoyed "SA" as much as we did.
It was so fun to watch Hunter make your choices. I'd like to see it again-anywhere!

Magic! Hunter is just so cute! Looks like it was an amazing trip. San Antonio is gorgeous. You guys are the best parents. Hunter is almost old enough to do the iconic parks for the first time - Disneyland and Sea World - looking forward to those :). Theres also Legoland in Sand Diego and the San Diego Zoo... and the beach and Old Town and Coronado and Balboa Park - you're close enough ... San Diego!!

Very fun to watch. Hunter is a trooper on the long layovers and new locations/time zones. Come see the dramatic Oregon coast. Drive from Border to border. You can easily do it in 72 hours. See you there!
Just thought I’d mention. Found your channel whilst in hospital for an op yesterday albeit it was the VSOE video so was oblivious of later developments. But really enjoy the channel. This video reminds me of my daughter’s first plane trip. I’d had luck of flying over UK on a clear Guy Fawkes night. The fireworks at 30k feet were amazing. Had deliberately arranged for daughter’s first flight same night a few years later. Despite poor weather during the day, cloud cleared just in time. Got on the plane only to realise daughter was too short to look out of the window ! D’oh ! She was not impressed!

Yay!!! Born and raised in the hill country of Texas which is near San Antonio! And went to school in SA! Loved seeing this vlog. Fredericksburg and new Braunfels are also great to visit along with other small towns near by.

First, you need to come to Dallas, better than Austin or SA (I'm a lifelong Texan and have lived in all 3). Second, that was a *very* poorly made Marg. Third, those street tacos at market square are legit, glad you were able to experience real Texas cuisine. Love your content and your kid is actually the cutest child on TH-cam. You made me want to visit Aus.

It's amazing how much Hunter loves food! She gets so exciting, its cute haha. Those riversides make me think of my own city, Utrecht. Here we have the same restaurant places besides the canals. They used to be warehouses :)

This brought back so many memories! San Antonio is an underrated gem in Texas and it's nice to see it highlighted as a great spot to go. I think you should totally do something like this again! I kinda want you to just travel America like this all the time. ^_^

Best vacation I ever took was Ashville North Carolina. Biltmore estates and the town of Ashville with amazing restaurants like Salsas and the Tupelo Honey, and the stable Cafe restaurant at Biltmore was amazing we went back 3 times it was that good! It takes you 2 - 3 days to tour the castle and all the forests the Vanderbilt family created along with gardens and a winery. The town is southern with a twist of hip town and your 2 hours from Charlotte North Carolina. Christmas is beautiful and sells out but spring will be happening soon and even the Fall is beautiful. I was an event planner in San Francisco and Minnesota. I had such a good time that I have been there 3 times it that fun.
Great idea and really enjoyed the video guys! Come to the North Carolina coast! Ocracoke, Masonboro Island, and Wrightsville Beach are a few of my favorites! Hunter is adorable and reminds me of my girls when they were that age! Ocracoke is only accessed by plane or ferry...Masonboro Island is only accessed by boat or kayak and you can camp and fish or surf and at certain times you might be the only people on the entire island! Wrightsville is a beautiful family beach with good surf! Adore your channel and can't wait to see your next adventure!

I can’t believe I missed this upload! I am just now seeing this! But, fellow Texan here! I am born and raised in Dallas but enjoy going to San Antonio. Every year in April they do a huge month long festival called Fiesta and the crowds are enormous!

How long do you plan to traveling the USA? You must visit Michigan, but it's best in warmer weather. Although still beautiful in winter. Our Great Lakes are like the ocean and we have a few famous Carribbean blue clear inland lakes. Torch lake, Higgins Lake, Walloon lake. Sleeping Bear Sand Dunes. Travel the Lake Michigan beach town coast. Mackinac Island is an amazing island that has no cars and bike or horse wagons only. Near our major DTW Metro airport is the Henry Ford Museum and Greenfield village..... look up the things we have at both! Nowhere else like it! 🙌
