The long-awaited residential expansion is finally here, and boy, it's so magical to see all coming together like that. Even the accessibility is superb.
Something I need to focus on in Cities 2 is building from references. I utterly failed to do that with Cities 1 and I tend to get trapped in repetitive builds because of that. Love seeing more Last Angeles. Awesome build!
Brilliant! Thank you for dropping this just as I'm about to do my own first serious beach-build. So far I've found that the Art-Deco buildings (one of the very early packs) are superb for beachfront apartments, hotels and shopping areas clustered around piers, especially if you replace their vegetation with short palms and better bushes using the BOB replacer. Really looking forward to trying my hand at what you did wth the marina apartments area!
11:30 while these Pathways look nice, I don’t think I’ve ever seen any parks or paths look like that! Except for that, I totally love this longer episode, as a long time Viewer I can really tell that you build your cities with alot of ease and experience. It makes for awesome Videos to watch. Sometimes your experience exceeds mine, and I don’t understand why you’re doing certain things, so I really miss your subtitles where you used to explain in the past! Keep it up ❤️
You're an amazing builder. I can pinpoint the exact location on google earth where you took your inspiration from. You've even built the Venice Beach Protected Sea Dunes. Good job!
You should do some wealthy mountain suburbs, very iconic to the LA metro and California in general, especially if you let them get level 5. You could put the vanilla observatory at the highest point to be the similarly iconic Griffith Observatory near Hollywood
Always loving Imperatur's residential designs and placement. One thing I would add is a pedestrian bridge connecting the marina to the baseball field. Seems pretty isolated to me; at least an easier access via walking would be nice
This is the best gaming city I've ever seen! How do you plan everything? Do you come up with everything in advance or gradually? Do you keep it in your head or some other way?
It is too bad when you build an absolutely AWESOME beach like that you can't specify a beach front package for stores and that the cims never seem to enjoy it.. But this failing is not yours sir it is the games and you do some amazing building. You are like Leonardo da Vinci painting the Mona Lisa while I am like Ugg the Neanderthal spitting clay mixed with water on my hand on a cave wall somewhere... Bravo...
Every Video i watch i get hyped to play CS myself but then i go in-game and realize my graphics look shit and i cant build like you do. I‘d be VERY happy if you could share your settings for the mods you’re using ❤
one of the best city i ever seen in cs1. congrats
Well the best vanilla one atleast
Came here to say this 👍

There can be no doubt, this is the single best vanilla build I've seen

The blend and integration of all of these different residential assets is so good. That beachfront especially is to die for.

All in all, a pretty decent beach considering the lack of assets, props and beach pathways!

Yeeeeeah boi, all the residential spices here!

This is like Santa Monica Beach - LA
I love your builds! They’re always really detailed and cool looking! 👍
Another banger of an episode, i can only dream of the amazing stuff you can do with vanilla. By far my favourite series on TH-cam.

This is the best gaming city I've ever seen! How do you plan everything? Do you come up with everything in advance or gradually? Do you keep it in your head or some other way?

This remembers me "Vondel Waterfront" of CoD Warzone
Awesome!
Nice job! did you get inspiration from gta 5, it looks a bit like the beach :D
Episode no 19 not 18 😅
I play on console and I cannot place trees and bushes etc the way you do. Is that a console-version thing?
Every Video i watch i get hyped to play CS myself but then i go in-game and realize my graphics look shit and i cant build like you do.
I‘d be VERY happy if you could share your settings for the mods you’re using ❤
I suggest you change the trees to palm ones, those make it look pakistani for some reason, idk the palms make it more beachy and californian
