I have just spent 3 months in Hua Hin - Staying in La Casita on Phet Kasem Road. It's such a lovely place, with so much to do and it is physically enormous. Your luxury hotel was very nice, but I think it was actually in Cha Am - and about 25 kms from Blu-port shopping mall. There is so much more for you to see, especially if you have a scooter - head down to dolphin bay.
Baba Beach Club is nice, it’s in Cha Am, but people refer to the area between Hua Hin and Cha Am as Hua Hin. My main home is at a resort called Hua Hin Blue Lagoon and it’s actually located in Cha Am.
I like your style of vlog production with music in between when not talking, plus the gradual overlay of softer music when talking a few words then scenery w/o talking.
Not sure if you’re still in Hua Hin, but if you get the chance give Baan Kuhn Por a try. It’s a night food court on Soi 88 just across the train line. Enjoyed the video, I’ve been visiting Hua Hin for 15 years and have lived here for the last two years. Enjoy the rest of your stay 👍🏻
Awesome video guys! Did Lloyd watch the Grand Final (AFL), and what did he think of it? Sad to see Brisbane lost, but they'll be back to win next year.
Probably hidden for first timer tourist to Thailand it nice but really depend a lot on season unlike the South it look great even with rain . all for Bangkok people if they dont know where to go there are 3 choices nearby 2-3 hrs drive 1 Khaoyai 2 Pattaya (not in Pattaya itself) and 3 Hua Hin. I've been there once a month ever since I was kid until I lost count, other group that knew Hua Hin very well might be elederly nordic people this group of long term visitor like it calm and quiet when Hua Hun become dense some of them move further south, there are many good spots along the gulf good for soaking sea wind as I know now they are nearby Wanakorn Beach National Park.
Great video guys! Loved it. I was on the journey with you so thank you Wonderful experiences you’re sharing with us.😊 I couldn’t help but say ‘see Mandy ! you should have bought both those pairs of sunnies at the market I knew it lol
Do you guys put a play list anywhere of the tunes in your videos? Some awesome sounds that I'd love to introduce into my work day. Great video as always guys.
I loved Sapa at Cat-Cat in Vietnam. I’m going to have to check out the hotel you mentioned in Sapa, because I really want to return to Sapa area again.
Lovely video, great showcase of my lovely Hua Hin. With all due respect, Mandy, and appreciation for your beauty, let me suggest you tighten the strap on your helmet. If you go down with it strapped so loosely, it will fly off, leaving your head completely exposed to Hua Hin's hardest bitumen.
Huahin is not really hidden it s filled with foreigners. Pandaree is nice quality at good price 25:00 Ngong Joe made a lot of street art around the city and in Prachuap khiri my town khan 2h from Huahin. you can visit the wing5 base and climb the hill at the top there is a nice view. Will you go the Vietnam soon ?
You should have got off the Bus in Cha Am, this is the hidden Gem. Be interested to hear about tourist numbers in Hua Hin at the moment. AFL and NRL finals this weekend Lloyd.
My favorite restaurant in Hua-Hin is ป้าฮี้ด (Paa-Heed) or auntie Heed. It's kinda at the and of cape area where you can find a lot of fisherman village and they sell a lot of fresh food there.
Your video helped confirm my desire to visit both Hua Hin and Cha Am. I miss living in Asia so much and think that this part of Thailand will be perfect for me.
Hua Hin isn't it. Prachuap is one of the most beautiful area in Thailand. Come and visit Prachuap Town and Ban Krut. This is real Thailand, with real Thai people, food and beauty of Thailand. If you need assistance write to me. If you come to Ban Krut, stay with us. We will show you everything.
I took the train south stopping along the way. I couldn't wait to leave Hua Hin cos it's full of old men. I stopped at Prachuap Khiri Khan, climbed the stairs to the temple and saw the langur monkeys in the army base. Ban Krut was going to be my next stop but for some reason I skipped it 😢
LARD ? This is what we cooked chips with in Scotland before the introduction of vegetable oils . It is made from beef fat and doesn't have a pleasant taste . It does make much better and better tasting chips (French fries). Can't imagine a lard flavoured snack ; makes me feel a bit queezy .
We recently stayed at an AirBnB in Jomtien. It was funny because many others were obviously also just visiting but the apartment building had signs all over saying that stays of less than 30 days are illegal!
I just started some online coursework for a new job. My studies are 20hrs/week. I want to live in new places the next 4 months that are cheap and amazing. I have never been to asia but am thinking vietnam (HCMC, Da Nang) then thailand (BKK and Krabi). You all are amazing either way but any other places i should research? :)
The Thai Royal Family still visit Hua Hin for holidays. The old Railway Station is a museum. There are express trains, the ones that say special express are air conditioned.
I love Hua Hin been there many times Jonny something happing lives there he is also i vlogger how are you finding you suit case is it still holding up and would you buy them again can you send me the link please. love everything you guys do.
"A hidden paradise that seemingly no one knows much about..." Oh, puh-leeeeeeeeze. Hua Hin has been hosting Thai royalty for a century. That is the most shameless, lazy, ham-fisted click bait description I've read in a week.
Not sure the take Hua Hin is a hidden gem. C'mon. ! Save that for Petchabun 😁 Hua Hin for decades is preferred by Bangkok peeps for a beach weekend. It's not a hidden gem nor other Prachuap Kiri Kan's offerings.
@@suezeeqwhy won't they mention Bear ? Nothing ...so many subscribers would love to know where he is, how he's doing . I know I subscribed bcoz I loved to watch him.
Hua Hin isnt great tbh. If you go south of Hua Hin, there are some very interesting hotels and secret fisherman's village in the middle of a national park.. entered via a lord of the rings style road up thru some large rocks
It's no longer a hidden gem! Not for a long long time. I went there in 1992, and it was very quiet back then, and under developed. But it's been over developed for a long time now. Too expensive nowadays.
Hidden paradise ? Everybody knew about it in the early 90's when myself and my expat friends went there regularly. Way before all these millions of you tubers decided to all vlog the same things.

Mandy's beauty and personality are key. Lloyd's talent was finding her. Good work!
Hua Hin is a peaceful place. Even our previous king has lived there when he was old. Hope you have a good trip :D
🤩 Glad you find Hua Hin so beautiful too 🤩 We found our base in Hua Hin after 2 years of traveling the world.

Can’t wait to see what you think of Hua Hin. I go there almost every year for my beach time because it is so close to Bangkok and very easy to get to.
That place is on the top of my Thailand hit list!! Fantastic
If you like this kind of atmosphere, I recommend Thawsi lake hill, Kanchanaburi.
The old Hua Hin station building was designed in the Victorian era of England.😊
I like your style of vlog production with music in between when not talking, plus the gradual overlay of softer music when talking a few words then scenery w/o talking.
It so còol🎉 I like it
Loved this episode! So nice to see Sen (Mandy) so full of smiles! Feels like I’m missing out on all of these great adventures

Moving to Thailand in 4 months as an English teacher. Is it a good place to live as a first timer?

Nice! I’m going to have to check out this town and hotel as well. I love all the Thai foods! Everything taste just right. My fav food.
This Vlog 191 is lovely and inspiring. I feel like having good vacation till the end of the vlog. I definitely love your work.❤❤❤
Looks like a perfect place to unwind frm the busy city 👌👌
Hua Hin a hidden gem ???? You guys are funny !! First time in Thailand eh!
Lol right. Only made Forbes list in 2023 😂
Wow that hotel is incredible Pretty sure its out of my price range😢
If you go to Koh Kood, you will see the beauty of this place even more. Including the still nature and tranquility.
Great content as always guys. Love mind travelling with you.

"Give Koh Samet a try. It's incredibly beautiful, and there are very few tourists. Locals are the main visitors."
I love Koh Samet for a weekend away. Park your car and catch the ferry across - lovely.
I agree with @tripontube365. You guys must give Koh Samet a try. It's not too far from Bangkok with a quick boat ride and you are in paradise.

the sea in Huahin in rainy season sometimes gets infested with jellyfish... be careful going into the water.
Great music guys.

Hidden, you say? That wouldn't be a bit of an exaggeration, you say?
You say?
Tourists and experts already destroyed this place already

😂😂 Hua Hin is "hidden"?!😂😂😂
It's been there forever hardly a Hidden gem 555

It's an expat enclave. You'll do better living in the real Thailand.
Personally I wasn’t a fan of Hua Hin at all. There are much nicer places in Thailand.
Nothing new in this video
