I appreciate the attention to detail, covering every defensive option, counting the amount of vanishes it requires w/proper spacing to punish Explosive Wave. Very informative.
13:23- found this out the other day. So far ive found out, that ssj goku, ssj4 goku, and super perfect cell can follow up with a vanish attack and or dragon homing after cinematic rush attack
Thank you for the tutorial man ! Noticed in your gameplay against that Jiren that you just super countered all his vanishes but then got hit by his revenge counter so I thought that maybe this tip might be helpful to you: You can super counter the revenge counter, but the timing is no strict at all. Revenge counter has this weird mechanic which slows down the time so basically if you press Up + Square at any moment of his revenge counter, you'll get the super counter guaranteed. Works 100% of the time on his first revenge counter. If he does 2 revenge counters in a row, you won't be able to counter the second one tho.
Good guide! It does feel like the idea of vanishing multiple times for a super wasn't on the devs mind seeing how janky it is compared to BT2/3 but at least it's still a thing lol
Yes, that's called auto vanish & is necessary in some cases to evade the move altogether; if an auto vanish is involved, you'll have to quickly let go of block & start hitting block again.
Omega Blaster & Sphere of Destruction vanishing is based on the distance that you have from the attack; in Broly's case, an auto vanish is possible but you need to back-up a bit. In Beerus' case, it's fast so you'll want to make sure you have enough distance that the game can let you hit block as SoD is thrown. I can make a guide for it if there's enough demand, that or I'll try to make a 1 minute tutorial in the form of a Short.
I'm planning to do rank this weekend on PS5 but I would prefer to wait for the patch. We'll see what happens. For now I am planning it for Saturday/Sunday.
ugh, you can say that again about Finger Blitz Barrage/Barrage Death Beam. I have tried everything to try and make it viable on 4th Form Frieza, but it is just awful.
As cool as this is, this cant be more optimal then vanish then block right? Like the punish is neat but its far more likely you get punished for missing 1 vanish outa the 6(or 14). Seems very high risk high reward, which means unless you are so far ahead it doesnt matter, or really down bad, this shouldn't even be considered.
The timing is not difficult to learn in this game & by vanishing into a block you take chip damage when you could just punish the whole thing for free. Play the game how you personally want to but it is definitely worth the time for; - avoiding damage - punishing with a strong Super - ki management - tagging out - flexing unless you want to voluntarily take damage after vanishing into a block & then just sit there.
@THEGrandMasterHawk You failed twice in this video at the start just trying to showcase it, and it's your tech, taking minor chip damage seems for more safe then taking the full force of a Kefla ult. Plus latency also makes the timing different. Doesn't this mean it's too inconsistent? You don't lose any ki so ki management isn't really relevant. Reseting to nuetral with more ki is still a win, they just burnt theirs. I'm not saying it doesn't have a good pay off, something you don't touch on is increasing skill stock by vanishes, I'm just saying if you blocked the ult, you probably won off that alone. Going extra for something so risky seems like not worth. I had another Z friend try this vs me, everytime he didn't block he would fail around the 4th vanish and just take the reccome ult. Some baby chip damage, at the cost of all their ki and 3 skill stocks is definitely worth, so how is this not win more exactly? If latency messes you up, or if you mess up the timing, you are taking a 20k+ ult for no reason, you already won by getting the first vanish.
I failed twice because I have a poor attitude going into this game to begin with & wasn't in the mood to play either. The reason I even included it was for audience transparency so people know it's possible & there's no hacking going on. Latency does indeed make the timing different but it doesn't mean it's inconsistent; in the case of Kefla's Ultimate do you really have any other choice? Your best option is to always play an AIS character or just learn the different vanish timings. The ki management part isn't about losing ki, it's about *retaining* ki; Sparking Zero is all about ki management, if you happen to be in a bad spot you can vanish out of the whole thing & use the opportunity to charge your ki back up, or even use Full Power if your character has it. Not everyone is in a situation to block the Ult or the Super coming at them though; the time or amount of frames it takes to block versus doing a vanish is different, and the vanish is arguably a superior option in up-close situations like that whether it's after a Z Burst Dash or infinite ki spam in close range, going for the block in ki spam would be ideal while going for the vanish after a ZBD would be best. You got me on that one somewhat. The only "comeback" I can give you there is that most people who go for these moves tend to do it at a range where you can't always reach them in time even after blocking. Sure, the Skill Counts are gone but they'll be rebuilt pretty quickly. My point in all of this is that it shouldn't be ignored like you suggested in your first comment; in many situations this is an ideal payoff. If you want to just sit there & block, it's up to you but against moves like Final Explosion & whatnot, that isn't possible.
@THEGrandMasterHawk fair! I guess situational would be a better word. Its always good to at least know how to for when the situation arises and it might turn the game.

now i can try vanish myself :O. nice video. is it possible to press already in the animation? so you get the rythm before the attack gets launched?

Can you make a tutorial to vanish supers? I can't vanish big attacks like Broly's super or Beerus' super

Which opponent setting do you use to practice dodging Kefla's ultimate?
Rush-Type Blasts or set the CPU to Ultimates, but when I did the one in this guide it was Rush-Type Blasts.
@@THEGrandMasterHawk thanks!
