- We're diving back into Middle Earth with this amazing multiplayer mod! Today we'll journey out of the Old Forest and head east toward Bree and Rivendell. I hope you're enjoying this series, fingers crossed I will be able to locate Rivendell in the next episode :)

If anyone’s interested, I can definitely recommend the LotR mod. It doesn’t come with builds like this - its generated structures are pretty simple so the player isn’t intimidated, but it’s got some great gameplay. -170 different biomes generate according to the LotR map on a massive scale, each of the current 25 factions have their own unique structures/blocks/hireable npcs/traders/titles/weapons/armour, and it adds the Utumno dungeon dimension which lies under the Middle-earth dimension like the Nether. It’s much, much better now than 3 years ago when it blew up on YT, and beta 36 is still on 1.7.10 but it’s currently being adapted and retextured for 1.15.
The sound balance seems very perfect to me, no complaints. And while it's sad to hear the negative comments affect you, I guess it's nice you can vent in these kinds of videos. If it helps there's not a single person alive who would not get negative comments on the Internet. If Ghandi and Mother Theresa were still around and had TH-cam channels their comments section would be full of awful stuff.
I don't really mind what you talk about, just hearing your relaxing voice works wonders. Although I always feel rude that I keep like half falling asleep at individual points in the video just due to it all being so darn relaxing haha =p

Don’t apologize for talking about the bad comments. It hurts when people say mean things. It’s human to feel hurt by that. I get annoyed when someone tells me not to feel hurt about negative comments online, because I can’t help it. You feel what you feel. Your emotions are valid.
You’ll likely always feel some level of pain when faced with negative comments if you’re predisposed to taking things personally, but we can all work on learning to deal with it in a healthy manner nonetheless. This not only applies to everyday life, but the internet especially; if you’re putting yourself out there on an open forum, you inevitably run the risk of incurring bad-faith criticism and/or hurtful remarks. It’s not pretty, but that’s life.
That said, I agree that she didn’t need to apologise, but then, I suppose that’s a feature of having a personality type high in ‘trait agreeableness’ (much like myself).

Just a heads up: The fellowship path isn't complete yet. For example, there's no path in Moria to follow. So you will get lost in there unless you just know it very well. And there's no way to get from Lothlorien to Emyn Mul unless you teleport there. But once you get there, there's only very little path to follow because they haven't finished building out the area between there and Mordor. But you can try to follow Aragorn's path to Rohan which has some awesome builds in it. There's also a /fly command which will allow you to fly. So your wish for being able to fly on the server is granted. :)

@@JubileeWhispers Forgot to mention, there's also a command you can use to make the footprints easier to spot if you lose them. But I can't remember what it is right this moment. :/

the footprints do seem very hard to follow, you could try plotting a course, maybe. if you wanted to keep it as a blind play and keep that feeling of adventure, you could probably reference other middle earth maps to know where things are in relation to wherever you were. the scaling is probably different, but the gist will be the same, right?
I ended up having to pull up a map just to see where I was going! But eventually I'll probably start teleporting to certain cities that are done and we can explore them :)

The Lord of the Rings films are nice and all but the books are the better story. (I'm a New Zealander and I still believe that). If you are a fan of the story you really need to read the books.
