Please Nigerians should be guided; there's no document or agreement between Mr President and Gov. Fubara that supersede the Nigerian constitution. 1. There is no paper, no signature that supersedes the constitution.
2. The constitution already states the course of action for those who decamp from their party. They are automatically finished, and new elections MUST be conducted.
However, the people of Rivers State have the choice. If they say they don't want those law makers, the law makers should be gone. And if the APC continues in their judicial rascality, then they are clearly asking for calamity for the people of Rivers and beyond. In my humble opinion, just what we need right now in Nigeria. To me,people are not really treating this issue constitutionally. Are we now saying wike is right to sit on top of the treasury of the state with the illegal agreement he made with fubara.Wike is supposed to have been arrested and rotten in jail. The elders have locus standi or sufficient interest on the grounds of beneficiaries of proceedings of democracy as rivers state citizens. The elders and citizens of rivers are directly affected by the aforesaid agreement. Under public interest the elders and all rivers state citizens have sufficient interest in the matter. The PDP is watching how one of its leg is being hammered. The National leadership, Chief Bode George has not seen any damage (s)being done to the PDP by Barrister wike. The two elder statesmen and indigenes of Rivers State spoke eloquently. Political arrangement at Aso Rock should not supercede the constitutionality of the laws of the land. As Isoawaji stated, the president is the product of the judicial process. PBAT should extricate himself from the brouhaha Nwike and his acolytes have brought to Rivers people.

The case between SIM FUBARA and WIKE is a matter between two thieves fight over the sharing formula of their loot.
I am extremely disappointed that someone as educated and knowledgeable as Abati, who is also a lawyer, should be aware that the document signed by Fubara is illegal. It is impossible to derive legality from something that is inherently illegal. According to the law, the president does not possess the necessary authority to enforce that agreement.
The elders of Rivers State have every right to bring a case forward concerning the state, as they are directly affected and the governor is entrusted with the responsibility of representing their interests. I am unsure whether to attribute Abati's behavior to ignorance or perhaps even wicked.
For Abati, you have to know there wasn't any crisis in the PDP as it relates to the former members of the Rivers State house of assembly.
The individuals claiming to be members of the house of assembly are completely illegitimate, as there have been numerous cases previously decided by the supreme court that establish this fact.
