You should ask your potential loctitian what happens at a retie appointment and ask what her preference is? (Wash before or wash with her). Braiding and banding and washing on your own is easy but if she *includes* the service with a retie, take it for the first time and ask lot of questions!
I have been watching your videos all day. I get my sisterlocs installed this Sunday. Your videos have given me so much information as to what expect and how they will look.
I have smaller traditional locs and want the change to micro locs. You are my inspiration!!! I have been locked for 3 years and they are long, I’m sooooooooooooo afraid to comb them out! Or to change them what if I don’t like them on me the way I love them on everyone else, then I’m stuck! I will watch your journey to see the outcome
AWWW yay!! so glad that you came across the video. I understand the hesitation, I had the same concerns as well. I appreciate your willingness to watch my journey :) If it flops, you'll know it advance! lol. But so far so good, I'm loving it and don't regret the decision
These millennials out here requesting clients shampoo their hair before coming to the salon. It's quite shameful actually that a lazy generation is taking away from salon services. They don't know how to behave professionally and provide quality services. At this stage without knowing everything to do yet - find a provider that gives you the full service and take note of technique and products.
Whew! Somebody had to say it :) I appreciate your comment! I remember a time where we could get a full service with no issue. Thank you for the advice & Thanks for watching :)
@@laurakasuvu I think a lot are operating with no license and shampooing is not allowed without a license in Texas. If it's not cousin Pookie doing your hair in the dining room DON'T GO TO UNLICENSED STYLIST and pay full price or even more.

This is great advice! Thank you so much for sharing questions to ask. I'll show up ready to ask ALL the questions. I appreciate you watching :)

@@laurakasuvu I am literally sitting here right now making my own dread extensions!!! I'm not spending $700- $1000 not knowing what I'll end up with.
