Nice video, can I assume the long press for the reset is modal? (I.E. it will maintain that state when the power is cycled?) Or will it revert to the factory setting?
Yes, it is modal. Basically a software reset and resets the display to zero. From what I can tell, the alarm coordinates of 3.5 degrees from center are also reset to the “new” zero settings regardless of the actual physical position of the pendulum.
what would i do if i accidentally long pressed the v buttom and the surface is not 100% levelled? how can I return it back? need help brother.

I turned on my new Huepar S04CG laser for the first time and noticed that the vertical beam was splitting into two. one is bright. the second one is weak. What can you do to help?
Hello @pauna7, it sounds like maybe the prism is cracked or defective. It should be a solid vertical line 360 degrees around. Since this is first time turning it on, I’m assuming it is new. Most likely you will need to return it as this is not normal. I would contact Huepar’s customer support. They are usually very responsive and should be able to help.
Do you have a video on how to calibrate the pendulum for this exact model?
Hello Sebastian and thanks for watching my video. I don't have a video for calibrating this model laser level. I contacted Huepar about opening mine up to show how to calibrate it, but they told me they would invalidate my 2-year warranty of I opened it up. Since my warranty ends the end of this year, I will make a video on calibrating it after that. Will this run on a power bank in the USB port. Battery life is kinda short...
Hello Dan, Yes it will run on a USB powerbank. When I'm using it on a project like a bathroom tile job, I'll plug in the USB charger and use it all day long.
Sounds like we all need to just buy a bosch gll 330
I presume this doesn’t affect the simpler models that do not have a digital display
Hello Frazer20, I would assume that to be the case. I only have the Huepar S03CG and S04CG models with displays so I’m not able to check.
