As I watch cal bent m2 chassis lol see my frugality is perfect
On the Arrma they go on well easy, just have to make sure you only undo the front, center and rear diffs bits, lift the chassis off and then dont move anything, then you can just screw the front and rear back on, then thr rest goes back easy peasy :) Callum has got the front flips at ARC down to a tea now. Cant believe he was so happy he had bent the new chassis 😂😂
Wasnt much editing needed on putting the chassis back on, it really did go back on as easy as that, key is to not move anything between taking the old chassis off and the new one on 👍👍
The old stock chassis did take some abuse over the two years we have had it, actually lasted longer than i thought, but then it was pretty bent up in the end, trill ran though 😂😂
@@All-rc804 Just don't see the need to, doesn't make them go any faster and makes them harder to control in the air as adjustments can be to erratic, i guess if we wanted to do standing backflips etc it would be worth putting it up, but then you run the risk of killing an Arrma diff

Shocks I've neglected aswell. Links need new balls and possibly a few endinks. To be honest, I've neglected the entire rig this year, but I knew I was going to do a 90%+ rebuild on it by summer. I prefer tekno over arrma. Especially my 8th scale buggy, monster truck and monster truggy. I'd put my monster truggy up against the kraton any day. You should look into m2c chassis braces.
Tekno are on another level to Arrma, love our ET48 2.0 but wouldn't bash it like this, prefer to bash race it as it beats any Arrma round a track 😂😂 wouldnt be keen to put any M2C stuff on the Tekno as it would take away the flex that makes it good at bash racing, but i do get why people do it as Tekno are tough and even tougher with the M2C parts on, i just prefer to hard bash with the Arrma and bash race with the Tekno
@@HardcoreRC check out my channel all I bash is tekno. I bash the eb48 2.0, the 410.3 Mt and the et48 truggy which I put monster truck tires on. I also have a 410.3 act which a few of us have turned into buggies.
@@noliftraceway8772 Oh i know Tekno are good bashers, just that with the number of cars we have we use them all in different way, for me the Arrma and Traxxas cars are for the hard bashing, Tekno is for racing, yes we could bash it, buthtne parts start to wear out and go out of shape and then it wouldn't race as well, if you get what im saying
The chassis is fine, nothing a hammer and some elbow grease can't fix. lol. I think the arrma chassis is made out of cheap Chinese pot metal. It's not 7075 aluminum like they claim. I have churned butter with more of a backbone than a stock Arrma chassis. lol
Its only a slight bend so doesnt really need knocking out, it will live 😂 yeah the stock chassis is super weak, but not 7075, the EXB chassis are claimed to be 7075, im not 100% sure if they are or if its due to them being stamped 7075 and the M2C being machine out of billet 7075

I don’t want this to come off offensive, cause you guys do some great builds and your boys bash hard and are great drivers. However, the transitions and editing is slowly becoming an almost exact replica of you know who. I say this cause I want you guys to thrive, but you’re gonna have to figure out a way to implement your own style. Much love and peace.

No offense taken, I'm just trying to evolve the channel, the amount of time and effort it takes to film and edit has to start paying off or we just have to stop (all day Saturday filming the build, Sunday out bashing, then at least a week of evenings editing). I watch many types of other TH-cam content from educational, car reviews, PC reviews, How to Grow a TH-cam channel, How to Improve Edits etc, I try to learn from all these different channels on how to make our content and editing better, i then view the analytics on what parts people watch more and then apply that into the next video. I will also be honest and say i really don't watch many of Kev's videos these days.
@@HardcoreRC , oh I’ll bet buddy. Arrma vs Traxxas vs Team Corally : take the XMaxx, a punisher and say a Kraton 8S….hit the same brick wall at as close to the same high speed as you can. Set up a high speed camera at the point of impact, and show the world which one is the strongest. Get wild, my man!! You know how many people would watch that if you did it right??? All the fanboys would be salivating. I do understand getting those views must be next to impossible, but before you give in, things like that haven’t been done yet. Would be a pricey fix and video, but how fucking awesome of a video could that be? You guys send with the best of them, but everyone sends off quarter pipes, ya know? I’m a nobody in the rc community, Facebook friends with Claire is the extent of mine….but you’ve got an audience. I think the fact you bash with Kev, at all the same spots, makes it hard to set yourself apart from his footage as it already looks familiar to the casual viewer. Your sons are exceptional drivers, push them to their limits. Take some portable jumps to a huge drop off, see what your builds can really take. I dunno. how many channels have failed trying to copy other people be origonal man it's just like a carbon copy if your looking to up your views being origonal is the best bet 😉
How exactly are we a copy of anyone ? we play with RTC cars and do it as a family - show me another channel that is about father and sons playing with RC cars ? Doesn't matter what we do with our edits and the cars, we will always get accused of copying someone else. Simple fact is the analytics show that people like to watch the wrenching / educational part, they also like to watch the bashing part, so that's what we work towards in our edits, i have also been watching a hell of a lot of content on how to better edit (l cuts, j cuts, mix cuts, jump cuts, b roll, sound effects, transitions, removing silent pauses, umms, ahhhs, repeated words etc), but i certainly have not been trying to copy anyone, in fact quite the opposite.
@@HardcoreRC don't get me wrong I like your videos I think it's awesome you have such a cool bond with your sons on rc it's wicked that's your usp and why I tune in and I'd hate for you to diaper so I understand why your trying different things I just thought this video seemed very familiar I didn't mean to offend you just saying my opinion 👍
@@Benguinthe111 That's ok, no offense taken. We have to try different things to evolve the channel, a lot of that is in the editing, which isnt something i find easy to do, this edit for example took over 20 hours. Some of it could be the fact we use a lot of the same locations, that is generally due to the fact we all go out together, I tend no to show all the others we are out within in the video, except for at the start or if something funny happens during the day when I'm actually filming, the rest of the video will just be about the boys and me. Problem is doesn't matter what we do, something will always have been done somewhere else, for example in Raz's last video he did a slo mo table drop of the RC car and then people commented he was copying Kev. Yes we did use the suicide jumps for most of the video and that is the same as the other channel, but just showing a car jumping over and over again at the same old skate park without any real challenge, gets boring real fast. The really funny thing though it that RC dude, duperbash and commander are pretty much carbon copies of each other, same exact editing, same start, same transitions, same words and comments etc and yet no one seems to be bothered about that 🤷♂️🤷♂️🤷♂️
If you say so, only so much you can do with an RC car, but then i guess RC Dude, Rich Duperbash Commander etc are all the same as each other as well ?? If it was an exact replica then we would have just kept on sending it till it was totally dead I always find it funny when people critic other people work when they haven't produced one video themselves to see how much work and time goes into it, tell you what, go film and edit your own video and them come back and lets discuss 👍👍
@@HardcoreRC just calling it like I see it. You seem like a knowledgeable dude, just need original content. I get it’s probably hard, but damn, at least try to come up with something different 🤷🏻♂️
@@BrokeOutlaw We do come up with different things and our channel is based on father and sons enjoying RC's together, although Jack is chasing girls more these days 😂😂 Hence we do drifting, speed running, crawling is boring, but we tried it, trying some cheaper options rather then the Arrma and Traxxas cars etc, but at the end of the day there is only so much you can do with an RC car when bashing, so then you have to add a reason for the video, like a mod, upgrade, repair etc and then show it being used, otherwise its just oh look here is an xmaxx, here it is jumping, here it is jumping again, yawn yawn yawn :) The thing is you have to make the video at least a bit exciting, if you look at how many RC channels there are out there all doing the same things with low view counts and not growing at all
@@BrokeOutlaw Thanks for subscribing, its normally me filming and editing and the boys playing, bashing etc. I used to drive and still do occasionally, but for me its more about seeing the boy haver fun and spending time with them as they don't live with me
Not at all, always easy to critic someone when when you don't put the time and work in to actually produce your own content 👍 our channel is about father and sons enjoying the hobby together. So what words did we use that are the same ? We are trying to evolve and produce better content and edits, doesn't matter what we do someone will always say we are copying someone else, there are so many RC channel out there all doing the same old hum drum stuff and all of them look exactly the same, even Rich, RCDude, Commander etc exact same style and editing, same words (butter smooth, beefcake, brother etc) same expressions. Most of what I'm learning on how to edit etc is coming from educational channels, which is pretty much all I watch these days. This video actually has our highest viewer retention at over 60% for the whole video, so guess there must be something right about it Do you a deal, go and film, produce and edit your own video then lets see how you do 👍👍
@@cryptobra5933 Like i said go film you own video, produce and edit it then come back and critic, but you wont as your far to lazy to actually do anything yourself except sit behind your PC on your fat butt👍👍 The edit on this alone took over 20 hours, 3 hours looking for new sound tracks, and that doesn't include the filming.

I still have original outcast with chassis , I've used tubing between the towers added hr braces never bent it but I'm not getting too crazy never been to skate parks considering amount sending they do I'd say stock faired well and m2 chassis was a worthwhile upgrade , I've Been just using the exb chassis for 40 bucks not as good but by time I need a chassis I need a overhaul just different environments needing different upgrades . As I watch cal bent m2 chassis lol see my frugality is perfect
On the Arrma they go on well easy, just have to make sure you only undo the front, center and rear diffs bits, lift the chassis off and then dont move anything, then you can just screw the front and rear back on, then thr rest goes back easy peasy :)
Callum has got the front flips at ARC down to a tea now.
Hi what punch setting do u use on the notorious?
Standard punch which i believe is 3, don't change the punch on any of our cars
@@HardcoreRC how come you don't touch the punch setting?
@@All-rc804 Just don't see the need to, doesn't make them go any faster and makes them harder to control in the air as adjustments can be to erratic, i guess if we wanted to do standing backflips etc it would be worth putting it up, but then you run the risk of killing an Arrma diff

My m2c chassis for my K6 exb should be here Friday!
I've got to get my diffs, links and shocks sorted out again too.
Very nice, super impressed with the M2C chassis, take so much abuse. what's wrong with your diffs ?
@@HardcoreRC
I'm pretty sure they just need maintenence and a new rear bulkhead.
It takes so many shims now and still sounds rough under load. The center diff is getting an aluminum case.
Shocks I've neglected aswell.
Links need new balls and possibly a few endinks.
To be honest, I've neglected the entire rig this year, but I knew I was going to do a 90%+ rebuild on it by summer. I was just waiting to get a new chassis before I installed all the new parts and did all the maintenance.
Chassis should be here tomorrow and this weekend I think I'll start rebuilding it.
Won't be making a video on it as I feel a little overwhelmed with the amount of work.
@@captaincouldverc I would check the actual gears on the diff, the crown and input, clean them up and then look under light, if the tops have been knocked off you can normally tell as they look shiny.
Total rebuild is a lot and even i wouldnt film that, just think though once done will be as good as new 👍👍👍
@@HardcoreRC
Oh I will definitely be inspecting all the components of the diff when I perform my maintenence on them. For sure. I've got the spares if needed.
And huge surprise, the chassis just got here!

hi mate. I'm a retired mechanic and I raced superkarts and bikes I've got 3 kraton's and I've bent all 3 chassis but I've made my own breaces and I haven't seen anything like my breaces and I launch my toy's and I don't bend chassis anymore. Great video guy's yeah outcast are fantastic 👍🦘🤪🤣
Wow nice, bet you have fun racing the superkarts 👍👍 curious about your braces that stop the chassis bending, you should look to sell them 👍👍
I prefer tekno over arrma.
@@HardcoreRC yep totally get it. But we still bash with our teknos. Lol.
The chassis is fine, nothing a hammer and some elbow grease can't fix. lol. I think the arrma chassis is made out of cheap Chinese pot metal. It's not 7075 aluminum like they claim. I have churned butter with more of a backbone than a stock Arrma chassis. lol
Its only a slight bend so doesnt really need knocking out, it will live 😂 yeah the stock chassis is super weak, but not 7075, the EXB chassis are claimed to be 7075, im not 100% sure if they are or if its due to them being stamped 7075 and the M2C being machine out of billet 7075
that chassies take some hardcore kicks. not bad afterall but x is the king 😁 sorry traxxas fanboy 😂

I was thinking the exact same thing dude . I like these guys too. Always tune into their Sunday live stream. As you said it’s a lot like you know who and tbh he’s starting to get old fast. Stay original
I do edits of most of my bigger bashes with folks, and not nearly on the level you guys do, and it’s so time consuming to find a spot, get good footage, etc. I get it, my man. Your sons are funny and charming, you build great trucks! Try some wild shit.
I dunno. I love your videos and don’t want to see you guys go away!
@@Mzlanders This edit took around 20 hours all in, that doesn't count about 3 hours this week trying to find some new audio tracks, found 2 new ones i liked, and doesn't include the time to film it
There is so much that i spend time clearing up, like all the umms and ahhhs, and repeated words and silent pauses etc.
Yeah i guess it does look like same spots as we all tend to go out together, i also try to not include Kev in the videos as don't want to be seen as riding his coat tales so to speak, but i really enjoy going out in the group and they have without question saved me from what would have been a dark and miserable past 2 years.
Would love to a comparison like that, but sadly my funds wouldn't stretch to something like that just yet, the bill would be huge 😂😂
@@HardcoreRC , honestly, out of all the videos I share from my mostly private TH-cam page, the ones that garner the most views are the ones where I let loose at the mouth the most. I get so hyped bashing with others. It’s just so much fun. So I said fuck it, I’m just gonna be myself and get weird. People seemed to really like it, my enthusiasm for the hobby and other drivers. @@Captinfun101 Tear down noises ? and crash sound bites ? the wasted I actually started using after seeing it in a channel that doesn't even do RC Cars, having never played GTA i didn't know that Kevs crash sound was even from GTA as he never used to use the wasted bit, just the sound, Think Kev's videos only started doing the wasted text when his brother started editing, which was after I first used the wasted bit,, does that mean i should now stop using it ??

how many channels have failed trying to copy other people be origonal man it's just like a carbon copy if your looking to up your views being origonal is the best bet 😉
The really funny thing though it that RC dude, duperbash and commander are pretty much carbon copies of each other, same exact editing, same start, same transitions, same words and comments etc and yet no one seems to be bothered about that 🤷♂️🤷♂️🤷♂️
And they are still made cheap in China.😄😄😄😄😄😄😄😄😄😄
Not all of them, some are made in Taiwan 😂😂
This gotta be a joke lol almost an exact replica of Kevs vids 😂 just another knock off talbot 🤷🏻♂️
If you say so, only so much you can do with an RC car, but then i guess RC Dude, Rich Duperbash Commander etc are all the same as each other as well ??
If it was an exact replica then we would have just kept on sending it till it was totally dead
I always find it funny when people critic other people work when they haven't produced one video themselves to see how much work and time goes into it, tell you what, go film and edit your own video and them come back and lets discuss 👍👍
@@HardcoreRC just calling it like I see it. You seem like a knowledgeable dude, just need original content. I get it’s probably hard, but damn, at least try to come up with something different 🤷🏻♂️
@@BrokeOutlaw We do come up with different things and our channel is based on father and sons enjoying RC's together, although Jack is chasing girls more these days 😂😂
Hence we do drifting, speed running, crawling is boring, but we tried it, trying some cheaper options rather then the Arrma and Traxxas cars etc, but at the end of the day there is only so much you can do with an RC car when bashing, so then you have to add a reason for the video, like a mod, upgrade, repair etc and then show it being used, otherwise its just oh look here is an xmaxx, here it is jumping, here it is jumping again, yawn yawn yawn :)
The thing is you have to make the video at least a bit exciting, if you look at how many RC channels there are out there all doing the same things with low view counts and not growing at all
@@HardcoreRC lol I’ll admit I haven’t checked the rest of your channel. Subscribing now, father son bashing is definitely something I can get behind 👍
