I enjoyed your videos. Nice to see your perspective. My first Camino was the French Route 7 years ago. My feet were ate up with blisters. I’ve learned.
Get properly fitted shoes, use the extra eyelet to lock in your feet, merino wool or synthetic socks (I like Wrightsock) and coat your feet with a thin layer of Vaseline or equivalent. You won’t get blisters. I’ve walked 7 Caminos since my first one.

There is beauty in not knowing but in just doing. 🥃. That’s how I did it. I never doubted it even though I was fat and out of shape. I went out there and did it while a bunch of my friends are still contemplating pros and cons. 😂

Nice recap, took some notes and great advice to skip certain sections. I have already seen enough highways and factories…. Good job in keeping the average daily expenses sooo low. Hope you guys fully recover especially Ellie with your blisters and ready for another adventure. Looking forward to it…. Take care

I did the Camino del Norte, just finished it 2 weeks ago, and it really was a great experience.I took 5 weeks, and I enjoyed the beautiful country side and met some nice and interesting people from different countries.I watched your reports about the Camino before, and they gave me a lot of inspirations and useful tips.

Hi. Wonderful route. But if you leave Santander go by the coast. It is a beautiful walk. After Boo take the old route. No pipeline in site.

Just a different perspective, but I liked the walks out of Bilbao, Gijon and Santander - nice to see the more urban/industrial side of Spain in addition to the natural beauty for me :)
Another great video - looking forward to seeing your next Camino on TH-cam.

For us, it was the pavement it really started hurting our legs and muscles.
Thank you so much, we are already planning our next camino!

That Gijon to Aviles section is some of the worst pollution i've every seen.
Everything around that steel factory was a redish shade of brown.
It shocked me that people were living right next door to it.
