If you make several claims in a short period of time, especially large ones, you are more than likely going to see an increase in the insurance premiums. Watch what happens to product prices once this all dies down. If you see an increase in items, then you know they are now asking you to pay the cost of the increased premiums. It may not be overly noticeable, probably 10-20c per item, across the whole store, across the country. But still, you'll end up paying the cost of this, one way or another.
Consider this: Insurance companies make money when they dont need to pay the costumers. If the stores get looted too often the insurance companies begin to lose money, so what Pato Games said happens.

I’ve been thinking about this all day, the corporation’s don’t care about the looting because the product is bought one way or another. You buy it or it’s paid in insurance money doesn’t matter as long as it gets paid!
Sort of. Once you make a claim on insurance, your premium is reassessed. If you make several claims in a short period of time, especially large ones, you are more than likely going to see an increase in the insurance premiums.
Watch what happens to product prices once this all dies down. If you see an increase in items, then you know they are now asking you to pay the cost of the increased premiums.
It may not be overly noticeable, probably 10-20c per item, across the whole store, across the country. But still, you'll end up paying the cost of this, one way or another.
They pay for the cost of the product, not the profit that would be made by selling it. So instead of making money, they just get their money back
Consider this: Insurance companies make money when they dont need to pay the costumers. If the stores get looted too often the insurance companies begin to lose money, so what Pato Games said happens.
