Courtney has said herself she hates how people take every single as a statement of intent, that every song will sound like that in future. To me that was in response to Rotoscope detractors. This single is awesome, and it's not a "we're going metalcore again" statement. It's legitimately just LOOK AT WHAT WE MADE THIS TIME. Love these guys
This song is so fucking good. It's so Spiritbox. The vocals and the riffs and the ambience. That last chorus gives my goosebumps goosebumps. I've had this song stuck in my head since it released.
The lack of love for The Void sucks. It’s such a good song and it’s even better live. It doesn’t need a breakdown to amp it up because the constant momentum keeps it going and I love that change about it. That said, this song absolutely SLAPS.
This has nothing to do with anything, I just feel weirdly validated to see I'm not the only one who licks the lid of my protein shaker bottle to keep things clean 😂 so thanks for that, Nath! Also, yes: this song slaps.
They said Josh wasn't in the studio version of The Void because it was recorded prior to him joining. It's possible this song was also done before that, maybe even the whole EP. They hinted at releasing something this year also when they put out Rotoscope last year.
I love her cleans, so dang much. They give me chills. But I also really love when she mixes them with her screams. I prefer their songs with both, but I won't turn down a song here and there with just her cleans.
I love the song but I agree with you where if I were to be overly critical of anything about it, it would be that there were parts of the song Josh could have come in with a backing vocal rather then Courtney having a layered vocal. That main riff from Mike is absolutely killer.
The void didn’t catch me at first cause it’s one tone all the way through but I honestly love that song now. Where as this song gives you something to instantly grab onto so I liked it straight away
If Spiritbox wrote a song on ‘Holy Hell’. The first thing I thought about, considering the release of this in time with the announcement of the euro 2024 tour!
Why have I only just made the connection between following Nathan for fitness and fashion on insta and now only NOW realising hes half of this youtube duo.... god im dumb.
I've been making that same shit Mike Stringer joke for nearly 3 years now lol.. Also, I'm pretty sure Nik said it one time during a reaction when he was talking about Mike being a bendy boi with the strings.
They've not done a headline show here have they? Cos I would love to see that, I don't think this broken old body could shamble around Flemington anymore & I don't have anyone who could push me around in a chair. The gibberish talk thing made me think of the Sims 😂
7 songs, less than 30 minutes, probably still an EP to most bands. 7 songs, more than 32 minutes, definitely an album. Like, technically, Pig Destroyer's Natasha is one song, but the run time makes it an album. Or Bell Witch's Mirror Reaper. If most of the songs are 3 and a half to 4 minutes, I'd say it falls into the more than 6 songs, less than 30 minutes category.
Josh does do a couple harmonies in the recorded version of The Void (pushed further back in the mix but it’s distinctly his voice). I think Courtney is the definable face of the band and they want to keep the attention mostly on her, but it would be insane not to utilize his voice a bit. Great song, feels very much a mix of eternal blue and their debut EP.
Another banger from Spiritbox, love it. Is it just me, or was Courtney channeling some Demi Lovato with the dark hair, bangs, and then that studded jacket? I couldn't unsee it when it popped in my head (not a bad thing).

Hysteria has one of the heaviest breakdown they have. idk why they think they changed lmfao
I’m so obsessed with this song. Courtney’s harmonies at the end are incredible
Yep, goosebumps everytime
Totally 💯
This song is so fucking good. It's so Spiritbox. The vocals and the riffs and the ambience. That last chorus gives my goosebumps goosebumps. I've had this song stuck in my head since it released.
Oh and Zev Rose. The drummer.
This might be their catchiest song ever...the chorus just plays in my head on repeat all day.
Same here
Let's face it, it slaps harder than a Catholic stepfather, like EVERYTHING they do. Love 'em.

Fellow Void enjoyer here.
One of the best tracks they have produced IMO. A great blend of everything they do well
Honestly Spiritbox adding Josh from AILD has made them jump leaps and bounds live and such a huge pick up...
that is why bass lines are sick on this track
GAH DAMN. Spiritbox at it once again. They never disappoint.
Spiritbox gives me shivers, Im obsessed
I'm definitely liking the direction spiritox is going. Loved the reaction as well😂
Can already hear Josh singing those cleans between the screams live.
I have had it on a constant loop since it came out. Absolutely love it!
This has nothing to do with anything, I just feel weirdly validated to see I'm not the only one who licks the lid of my protein shaker bottle to keep things clean 😂 so thanks for that, Nath! Also, yes: this song slaps.
Spiritbox is taking over the world and I’m here for it.
That last chorus!!! 😍
Just saw them live last night and they were incredible I’m obsessed now. Josh sings a lot of backups and is fantastic

I love it the amount of songs i listen too have the word "jaded" in it😂 love that my names featured in a spiritbox track🤣😉😉
Very Architechs-y, in the most Spiritbox way! Which is to say that it is awesome!
Having now listened to the whole Fear Of Fear EP I can say Nath's prediction from this reaction was correct.
I love the song but I agree with you where if I were to be overly critical of anything about it, it would be that there were parts of the song Josh could have come in with a backing vocal rather then Courtney having a layered vocal. That main riff from Mike is absolutely killer.
I thought about the Mike "stringer" just the other day, haha, but I cant prove it really lmao
its not just peak spiritbox, its like peak metalcore. epitome of the genre and its great
The void didn’t catch me at first cause it’s one tone all the way through but I honestly love that song now. Where as this song gives you something to instantly grab onto so I liked it straight away
this is spiritbox's best song. its them, perfectly
The main riff gives me massive Architects - Hereafter/Modern Misery vibes
Old mate on the drums is underrated af.
I'm with Alex. Spiritbox at their very best - brilliant guitar tone.
If Spiritbox wrote a song on ‘Holy Hell’.
The first thing I thought about, considering the release of this in time with the announcement of the euro 2024 tour!
i know that Courtney is the lead vocalist but i would love to hear a song where Josh is singing with Courtney!
The last chorus gives me goosebumps! This song is so good!
You should check out the new Holding Absence album, and react to the song “Her Wings”.
Mike and Courtney have perfected that Up final chorus and outros.. they finish off Strong!
The end of this song is out of this universe
Seen them live two months ago...Josh did a lot of backing and a few bit of lead singing
first time i heard that joke and i loved every word of it!
You're the first I've heard say the Stringer joke 😂😂
Why have I only just made the connection between following Nathan for fitness and fashion on insta and now only NOW realising hes half of this youtube duo.... god im dumb.
Haha thanks for the support on both!
That riff is so good 👌
I really hope they let josh do some cleans on the album. Dude set the standard for cleans in metal.
That riff fucking slaps
I've been making that same shit Mike Stringer joke for nearly 3 years now lol.. Also, I'm pretty sure Nik said it one time during a reaction when he was talking about Mike being a bendy boi with the strings.
Must have proof from the last 3 years 😂
As i lay dying bassist in here 🎉
love that no one noticed that the new bassist was former vocalist / bassist from as i lay dyin lol
Mate we spoke about Josh at length, are you high?
@@nathandjohnny I am yes….. I miss it
That song was rad!
Ambient ❤
Y’all NEED to check out Doubt Me by Beartooth next!
Loved this song, although I freaked out because I thought another album was coming out this year.. my Album of the Year list is nearly full lol
That song is so amazing, I love Courtney's harmonies, so clear. Please reacts to "Red" by "Woe is Me". Great job guys, as always 🙌🏻🤍
They've not done a headline show here have they? Cos I would love to see that, I don't think this broken old body could shamble around Flemington anymore & I don't have anyone who could push me around in a chair.
The gibberish talk thing made me think of the Sims 😂
I made the Stringer joke a year ago. You'll be hearing from my lawyer.

They need to get a remix of this stat with Phil Bozemon mixed with her vocals. Bad ass song as it is, but could you imagine?

I saw an interview with her where she said everything she does is because of Beyoncé lol
You should listen to Boat Paddle by IWrestledABearOnce same lead singer. 😂
lets get Sienna Skies - Let it Burn ;)
Ronnie Radke seal of approval 🤣🤣🤣
I think this track has more of a mix of cleans and harsh than any of their stuff yet. Very cool bouncing back and forth so much.
nath always bullies johnny when he makes dumb jokes its hilarious
Come on boys, I wanna watch the reaction for beartooth "doubt me" :)
Love the channel guys. VOLA have released a new track, one to react to? Don't think you guys have done one of theirs yet?
I don’t believe people who hate on them. Just doing it for attention at this point.
You guys HAVE TO react to the new DGD song. Full Stop. Also ill recommend the new broadside song, the new Vukovi track too
You guys should check out a song called darkbeat by ANKOR. It’s like spiritbox and Paramore mashed together. Slaps so hard
Ngl, Courtney is cute af.
😂 fr 😅
PLEASE react to Doubt Me by Beartooth. Excellent song. Saw your reaction to their song Might Love Myself. This new one is much better and heavier.
I like her latex outfit :)
Please react one ok rock ending story live
i wish they had higher register vocals throughout the track. made me almost lose interest until that last chorus
Reaction a news song resolve please,n human and new colors!
Just can't get into spirit box - I've tried so many times. Can appreciate the solid metal core sound, but nothing in their music grabs me.
fiiiirst
Jesus..that riff is sick af❤
Review "Mortals" by Daedric Kristyn Hope has vocals almost as good as Landon Tewers not as refined on screams tho😍🥵🫠
