Hajra Bibi (Gurdev Kaur Sandhu) was separated from her family at the time of India Pakistan partition in 1947. Gurdev Kaur is living in Canada nowadays. In 2018, her interview consisting of her autobiography published a TH-cam channel. Due to this interview, she is reconnected to her sister, living in Chichawatni Pakistan.
Desi Infotainer is a Pakistani Punjabi TH-cam channel. We are covering the history, culture, and heritage of Punjab. The people of both Punjab are our target audience. We want to elaborate on the positive aspects of Pakistani society which is, unfortunately, not being shown on other media. The people of Pakistan always believe in love, peace, harmony, humanity, and hospitality.
We strive to show you how hospitable the people of Pakistan are whenever somebody visits Pakistan from all over the world.
We go to historical places and try to find the secret there.
The land of Punjab has a rich culture. It needs to be kept alive. We have a duty to bring this great heritage to our present and future generations.
Punjabi is a sweet language that inherits the treasures of poetry, literature and love. In its best condition, survival is also our fixture.
Through TH-cam and personal dedication, Desi Infotainer is preserving the stories of those who experienced the violence of Partition and helping families to reconnect.

This tropic is extremely interesting for me. I am also a migrant from East Pakistan and issues related to migration of people across the border attract me. I have a good collection of books related on this . Your efforts are highly appreciated and recommended. I congratulate you all for making this archive. You are playing an important role in history for keeping these history.
Only one thing to add that , I am a Bengali and can't understand Punjabi language. So, I earnestly request you to translate the statements by dubbing in English, so that people like me can also get the information, properly. Again thanks to all of your team.

I had watched Mrs Gurdev Kaur's interview in the earlier video and sincerely wished she would have that cherished moment to join her sister with a nostalgic feeling. It is sad to learn that this did not materialize, accept this as God's will, and I pray for her soul to rest in eternal peace.
God willing they'll be reunited in the hereafter where there will be no danger of suffering or separation ever again.

This is devastating, I watched the original story way back when it was first aired. I was from the deepest in the corner of my heart wishing that the two sisters would meet, hug, cry and help heal their pain and suffering. It was not to be, such was their fate, shrouded in heart-ache in this life, May Allah swt offer them a reunion in the next life.
