Big difference between defensive driving and blocking. You are correct.

    Great video.
As a “spectator “ / announcer I like good respectable blocking, especially for the lead.

Agree. Make it hard but sportsman like.

@@kart6t3_ben exactly. It's not like giving up your seat on the bus for an elderly woman or holding the elevator door, it's racing!

You said it, live to race another race. I race clone, I am fast. I will let someone big even if I have a wheel up on them if it appears they are going to block even though it's not really a block when you have position. Clone is all momentum so I try not to break mine by contact. Have fun with the clone. Maybe we meet at a track some day and go head to head.

Said this on your last video haha. I'm having the same issue here.
Dude is blocking for his son.
And I'm pretty sure these 2 are running helmet 2 way radios.
The old man showed me his radio that he uses to hear the tower, and it has a talk back for his, I know this because I used them at Harley Davidson, same ones smh.
    And I'm in the UAS.
Reason I also know this, is because I was passing this guy off turn 4 on the outside, because I know he was going to stay low on the last lap, and I had him till he totally turned up into me and all but put me in the wall.....
So he was told where I was.
I'm tired of this, purely tired of it.
And sorry to say this, and I hate, hate, hate driving like this..... but I'm going to take him for a ride.
Not into the wall, I'm not that kinda driver period.
But in the corner I'm going to tap his right rear and spin him.
I watched him do this stuff to another guy as well when I was behind both of them, until my 212cc open block broke 💔 😒.
But yes. I have the same issue as you are in clone class.

I have had people try to clean my nose off a few times and all i did was hold my line and when our karts got to together they spun out because I would not back out of the gas. I hate doing that but it they want to cut me off then they get what they deserve.

      It’s an adjustment I’ll make.

Very controversial, clone class you are not supposed to be moving your head around looking all round you.
You have to be completely still because the more the driver moves around the more it's gonna upset your kart (cross).
If your following someone and you see the line they're running keep that in mind because if you don't get enough of your kart under them for them to know your there.
I do 95% on my passing either coming out, and long before coming into a corner.
I don't believe in slingshot into a corner.
Remember how you enter the corn is how your going to exit the corner.
If you enter to early your coming out wide and vis verse.
    Good topic though.

It’s definitely a new type of racing.

im not sure what santioning body you race out there but nka has a rule for this "they must have the centerline of their front axle midway between the lead kart’s front and rear axle as they enter the corner without the use of contact or leaving the established course prior to the application of brakes, or corner turn in" my understanding is if you just have your nose under a kart they might not know you are there and according to the book they still have the right of line. that still doesnt justify turning down on you super hard but you shouldnt be there or should be ready to back off. but then again the rule book also says ". Once an overtaking driver has broken the rear plane of the lead kart with their front nose, the lead driver is not allowed to move any further. Should contact occur after the rear plane of the lead kart has been broken, but not to a point where the lead kart may be unaware, the lead kart must immediately abandon any further movement. If so, no infraction will be issued. If the lead driver continues the defensive move after contact, or had looked to his/her rear prior to contact, an infraction will be assessed. " kind of contradictory if you ask me

I can assure you nobody is thinking of that while they are trying to impede progress of a apposing kart. Lol.
