Hi Jason, tried on Hikvison CCTV DVR on VLC windows pc but it's not working, port is :8000 instead of :554 replaced it but still no streaming. Never thought VLC could stream CCTV as well so thanks for uploading this video.

@@JasonTech Nope tried both ports but didn't work, also tried on another CCTV system but not working on VLC. Maybe it's only for that particular brand of Hikvison IP camera you got on hand.

It should work, some hikvision cameras rtsp port is 8554 if you want to try. But if you login to your system and go to network, then ports and check to see what your rtsp port is. Because that 's what you have to use. Let me know
