Dough geela nahi hona chahiye. Syrup sahi hona chahiye. Aap syrup ko jab check karenge to wo pani me dalne par soft ball jaisi honi chahiye. Syrup ban jane ke baad turant gas off kar dijiye aur uske baad chawal ka aata milaiye.

gud ka syrup ban jaye to gas off karna hai uske baad chawal ka atta milana hai. aur mixture ko puri tarah se thanda hone dijiye taki wo dough jaisaban jaye aur pitha banane me easy ho. agar dough gila hoga to pitha achcha nahi banega.

It got split because you might have used the flour which got dried and had no moisture in it, just make sure that the rice flour has some moisture before you add it in the syrup, to retain its moisture always cover the flour with a damp cloth as soon as it is made and before added in syrup.

Most welcome 😊. The consistency of jaggery syrup is important. Check the jaggery syrup by dropping in water. If it comes into soft ball consistency, Immediately turn off the flame and mix the soaked rice flour. Do not cook the syrup further because if it turns into hard ball consistency, the pitha will be hard. so always keep a check on the syrup. If the amount jaggery is more, the pitha breaks. always take rice and jaggery in 2:1 ratio

Haan but is method me chwal ko soak karke uska atta banana hota hai. Readymade rice flour se banane ka tarika alag hai. wo main jarur share karungi.

Thanks. i think the gud syrup was not ok so it broke. Or the amount of gud was more. Always use gud in half quantity of the rice.

Can you suggest me why my arisa becoming hard...due to dry climate in Bangalore or anything else....
