Arisa is a famous dessert of Odisha also. Thanks for explaining it so well. You are right about the use of dhinki(wooden mill) for grinding rice traditionally. Unfortunately no one uses it anymore but I still remember when we were kids we use to love playing on it when we go to village for vacation.

पुजा रेसीपी पहली बार देख रही हुँ मजेदार लगी...पर चावल का आटा कितना पडा गुडके चासनीमे ? 1 किलो का प्रमाण है पर उतना पडा नही ..तो कैसे समज आयेगा की कितना लगा
