I am obsessed with these longer interviews. The second this film is streaming I am going to re watch it so many time. Basically studying this film and these actors now
Honestly its so refreshing to see actors and a director who actually deeply care about the movie they’re making and seemed to have a reverence to and were very familiar with the source material.🔥 (other studios take notes)
The fact that he addresses this and doesn’t just ramble on to say something…I feel like it makes him seem so intelligent and humble. Idk, I respect him even more now.
I think it would go over most peoples heads unless one has either done a rather detailed look at his timeline of filmmaking/storytelling or was actively thinking about this for every film he released at the time.
Personally I feel like zendaya deserves an Oscar nom for Dune Part 2. the physicality she brought to it and the emotional scenes were realllly strong acting
Really? That was my only complaint when I left cinema - that Zendaya felt flat and I blamed that on a director. I am once again surprised how people can view world differently ;)
"bad people are never going to see themselves as bad people"
probably the perfect line for a story like dune
At first I read "BALD people are never going to see themselves as bad people" and wondered what that was about.😅

I'm really glad that, this time, they're giving Frank Herbert credit for writing a great novel.
They all did that last time

I’m glad Oscar Isaac is mentioned, Duke Leto is missed so much for me, especially since the story is heading to the catastophy to the humanity😢
Best interview I’ve seen! Great question not to over the top but not by the numbers!
What a great interview. Engaging questions answered by thoughtful answers!
What intelligent questions, we saw real emotions inside the answers. Congratulations!!!
Yeah I think he was bathing in balsamic vinaigrette
The smell… of the Baron and the Balsamic…
no way that would stink and be too expensive, probably oil with coloring

Nothing would go over his head, his relfexes are too fast he would catch it.

All I really like to is if Josh Brolin tried to bring a Pug into battle...... lol
wait why
@mitza420 it has to do with the David Lynch version and Sir Patrick Stewart holding the royal pet pug going into battle
I didn't know King Viserys directed this film.
You didn't touch it?? I wouldn't be able to resist
